So the only way Bernie can win the nomination

is to do really well in the few states that are left. That still will not give him enough declared delegates.

Next he will need to convince super-delegates (which he despises unless they are with him) to go against the will of the people and support the candidate that got the fewer votes.

So the only way for sanders to win is to essentially pull a George w bush and use unelected officials to steal the election for him.

If he cares about democracy, why is Bernie wasting everyone's time and money?

Definition of Entitlement

People keep posting that Hillary feels entitled to the nomination. That she is imperial, wants everything handed to her.

As I'm finding, this accusation of Hillary is a complete fabrication. if entitlement was the issue, Hillary would not have busted her butt to become a Junior Senator - and she FINISHED her term. Then she ran for President but accepted Obama's candidacy BEFORE damaging the party or PERSONALLY attacking Obama. Then she accepted a position as SOS (turning away high paying speeches and book contracts). She finished that term too. That is the definition of hard work - NOT entitlement.

People say she was a republican in her youth - I think we're talking 1960s here.

Bernie, on the other hand, has not registered as a Democrat. Never ran for the President's office. He kind of declared last year/this year that he was going to run. All the primary rules are published. And yet he's complaining that the process is fixed and needs to be changed for him. HE NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT IT BEFORE.

The is the definition of privilege and I would say white male privilege. He only believes he can lose because something is wrong with the system.

Those who are concerned about Hillary's email situation with respect to

national security should first insist that Dick Cheney or others in the bush administration be indicted for allowing valarie Plame's identity to become public knowledge.

Curious, at why there is no outrage for that deliberate act, but plenty for Hillary Clinton who may have made a mistake but did not actually do anything.

WASHINGTON: With its territories reduced, cash-strapped ISIS has imposed new taxes and fines like a $100 penalty for shaving a beard and women being charged $25 for wearing cloaks deemed too tight, according to a research.

Pakistani men can beat wives 'lightly,' Islamic council says

Source: CNN

The leader of a Pakistani Islamic council has proposed a bill that allows husbands to "lightly beat" their wives as a form of discipline.

In the 75-page proposal, Mohammad Khan Sheerani suggests a light beating is acceptable should the need arise to punish a woman. The proposal bans forceful beating, saying only a small stick is necessary to instill fear.

The Council of Islamic Ideology is a powerful constitutional body that advises the Pakistani legislature whether laws are in line with the teachings of Islam.

Is anyone else surprised at how suddenly important email and national security is to Progressives?

What used to be important to us:
- jobs
- climate change
- health care
- fairness in elections
- equal pay/equal work
- female rights.

with Hillary running, the two things that seem to be defining are:

1. Benghazi - which was the most important criteria to judge Hillary, until the republican insiders spilled the beans and admitted it was a made up scandal.
2. email.

If only it wasn't for the email server, we could all be happy. It seems to be the biggest foreign policy blunder of all time. Not Iraq, Not 911. Email server with retroactive top secret attributions.

State Departments statement about Hillary Email problem had me Upset with Her

Then I read the fineprint:

- A State Department audit has faulted Hillary Clinton and previous secretaries of state for poorly managing email and other computer information and slowly responding to new cybersecurity risks.

The Associated Press obtained a copy of the report by the agency's inspector general Wednesday.

It cites "longstanding, systemic weaknesses" related to communications. These started before Clinton's appointment as secretary of state, but her failures were singled out as more serious."

The key words being 'previous secretaries of state'. Why has this problem been put on Hillary when it was conventional practice from all previous SOS as well. The way these stories are being paraded made it sound like Hillary was the only one uncompliant. I thought we were better and more fair.

Australian teen accused of plotting terror attack in Sydney

Source: Times of India

SYDNEY: A teenager was arrested on Tuesday after Australian police alleged he had been planning to launch a terrorist attack in SYDNEY.

The 18-year-old was expected to be charged with planning a terrorist attack, the Australian federal police said. They said another charge — preparing to enter a foreign country to engage in hostile activities — was expected to be filed in connection with an earlier attempt by the teen to travel to Syria. If convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.

"The planning was occurring now and we would say that an attack was probably imminent," New South Wales police deputy commissioner Catherine Burn told reporters.

Iranian Models Arrested For Posting Instagram Pictures Without Headscarves

Source: Huffington Post

A top Iranian model has been charged with “promoting western promiscuity” after posting pictures of herself on Instagram without a headscarf.

Elham Arab, who achieved fame for her blonde hair and bridal shoots, appeared before a Tehran prosecutor with her platinum tresses dyed brown, wearing a black chador.

An apparently penitent Arab was shown on state television saying: “All people love beauty and fame. They would like to be seen, but it is important to know what price they will pay to be seen

Ralph Nader isn't content with just giving us George W. Bush, now he wants to give Trump a boost

Source: Daily Cos

But in an interview with U.S. News, Nader expressed more positive thoughts about Trump's candidacy than Clinton's [...] “He's questioned the trade agreements. He's done some challenging of Wall Street – I don't know how authentic that is. He said he's against the carried interest racket, for hedge funds. He's funded himself and therefore attacked special interest money, which is very important”
