Sanders campaign uses HRC 'gaffe" to come up with AIDS proposal. Hillary has been out in front.

Bernie Sanders Rolls Out Comprehensive AIDS Policy Following Clinton’s Reagan Gaffe

Bernie Sanders AIDSWhile Hillary Clinton has had a specific plan for AIDS posted for many months as part of her ‘Fighting for Full Equality for LGBT People’ factsheet, Bernie Sanders had not posted a comprehensive plan of his own until this weekend, when the topic blew up over Clinton’s foot-in-mouth moment regarding Nancy Reagan.

So who is copying who? Talk about pandering and opportunist. Seems like Bernie campaign sits back and waits for any gotcha moment against Hillary to come up with his policies. But the press won't talk about that nor will the Sanders supporters post a hundred posts talking about it.

Still the dishonest double standard.

This is a great site to discover the political policy issues of all the candidates for 2016

Just substitute Bernie Sanders in the link where you see Hillary Clinton or and GOP candidate's name.
Scroll to the very bottom and view the right side listing to select any topic. i.e., abortion, civil rights, trade, budget etc.

I found the info on HRC to be very interesting and insightful...same for Bernie. The site allows for more in-depth examination of reasons for votes or support for various policies and legislation. Of course, there is always the danger of some cherry picking the information to put their favorite candidate in a better light and vice versa. But if one honestly considers the information given you will be in a position to make a better informed decision about the candidate.

http://www.ontheissues.org/Domestic/Hillary_Clinton_Gun_Control.htm This link give discussion on gun control but you can scroll to other issues.

Example of some of the Civil Rights info on HRC:
*******************************************
1962: met MLK Jr. preaching a sermon in Chicago

In 1962, Don Jones, the youth minister at Hillary’s church took Hillary and her class to hear a speech by Martin Luther King Jr. The civil rights pioneer preached a sermon titled “Sleeping Through the Revolution,” and the experience gave Jones the opportunity to leave another indelible mark on his pupils. “I wanted them to become aware of the social revolution that was taking place. It was an opportunity for them to meet a great person. Park Ridge was sleeping through the greatest social revolutio this country has ever had.“
In his speech, Dr. King said too many Americans were like Rip Van Winkle, snoozing through the changes happening around them.
That night was one Hillary would never forget, particularly because of the moment after the speech, when Jones shocked the teen and her comrades by arranging to have them briefly meet with King. Later in life, Hillary would remark that these experiences opened her eyes ”as a teenager to other people and the way they live which affected me.“

1965: brought black classmates to all-white church

In 1965, Hillary invited a black classmate to attend church services with her at the Methodist church, a move that raised eyebrows. Don Jones later recalled that the Park Ridge Methodist folks were bothered because Hillary seemed to make the move “not out of goodwill” but simply to shock a “lily-white church.” She told Jones she was genuinely interested in her minority classmates, and today, schoolmates like Karen Williamson speak warmly of Hillary: “She was a friend. As a black woman going to Wellesley at the time friends were very welcome. All the black students felt we had a close friendship in Hillary.“ They also sensed something more: ”A lot of us thought Hillary would be the first woman president,“ said Williamson later.
It was Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination that produced one of the greatest shifts. The trauma seemed to catalyze Hillary’s politics. Nevertheless, her classmates insist she was never a radical. Hillary was more willing to work within the system to change things.

Things are getting really ugly out there. My mixed race grands who never had any problems in their

private school are now being taunted as "losers" and taunts of "go back to Africa" or "go back to Mexico" or "ISIS children." Mainly because whites don't really know their exact ethnicity just that their skin is of color and not white.

Too good to pass up.

- ABC World News Tonight anchor Peter Jennings in his daily ABC Radio commentary, November 14.

How wrong he was then, how biased, but how right he is now!

Whatever one thinks about Obama, our current President, this is STILL the greatest, richest, most stable and most secure country on the face of the globe, the American people today are still the most blessed people in history, and even on a global, world-historical scale, we've never had it so good. Oh, and there has NEVER been LESS of an "Establishment" in existence. An Establishment grows up together, goes to the same schools together, marries each other, and is found in particular venues at particular months in particular Seasons year after year. Not only do they intimately know each other, but their great-grandparents knew each other as well. That today we do not have.

And yet we have the Republican Party convulsed by a two-year-old's temper tantrum that is about to nominate a silly-haired flim-flam artist with a delicate ego who clearly longs to be a dictator ---

And we have a Democratic Party, post-Michigan, that amazingly may find it in themselves to nominate an ugly old Socialist who could actually lose to the man who keeps books of Hitler speeches on his bedside table because the blindingly white Banh Mi Bourgeoisie despite their organic-food, fair-trade-coffee, over-priced Macbook, Prius and HBO lifestyle somehow feel hard done by because a few hedge fund guys are so much richer than them.

Two year olds, the lot of you! Grow the fuck up!

No matter what you think or feel about Ronald Reagan, he and Nancy were a beautiful love story.

RIP, Nancy. The true 40th President of the US is laid to rest today.

Crying for my country right now, listening to Donald Trump.

What on earth will it take to defeat the GOP? It won't be Bernie or Hillary alone. I hope people come to their senses. The crossover voters really make me ill. In many ways we are helping Trump by trashing our own candidate but mainly by the way we trash Hillary.

Congrats to the noble opposition.

Nice win Bernie.
