What if both Sanders & Trump went 3rd party, creating a FOUR WAY race?

I am not recommending this, but it is an interesting concept.

Trump is not going to be allowed to be the GOP nominee or he is gonna leave on his own for some reason, I am pretty sure.

Bernie has all but lost the primary, but he has so many supporters and voters, he could do this.

Think about it, in a 4 way race

Kasich or Cruz
Trump
Hillary
Bernie

who would win?

EDIT reminded of the monstrosity known as the Electoral College, the undemocratic nightmare that keeps us from real democracy

Troubled by Hillary's response to question about adopting some of Bernie's agenda

I saw a video here somewhere, cant find it now.

She was asked about the popularity of Bernie and his ideas and would she work with him on some of that and her answer was very disappointing.

Along the lines of she got more votes so why should she.

Obviously anybody with a brain or heart who alleges they are liberal has to vote for her if Bernie loses, but this response of hers was not only arrogant but she lost the perfect chance to bring us all together.

Too bad.

I am editing this, I should have mentioned Bernie didnt help matters by saying he has conditions on his support...

Bernie Sanders is profoundly changing how millennials think about politics, poll shows

This is huge, once we are beyond the divisive crap going on with the Bernie vs Hillary stuff, we can focus (ALL of us, that is,) on what a tremendous accomplishment it is that Bernie started, and without Hillary could not have achieved maybe.

After Bernie Sanders's defeat in New York last week, his chances of winning the Democratic nomination are dwindling. Yet, even if he loses this campaign, a poll published Monday suggests that Sanders might have already won a contest that will prove crucially important in America's political future.

In the Past Year, 18- to 29-Year-Olds Net Preference Nearly Doubled for Democrats to Maintain Control of White House.

Look at what has happened, millennials are going to be more involved now and in a progressive way.

This is huge, it really is.

The adults in the room have to show up and vote in November, it is our responsibility to do so.

Many of us wont be thrilled about it if Hillary wins, some wont be if Bernie wins, I am in the first camp as I support Bernie.

But you see if I refuse to show up in November for any reason, or If I vote for a 3rd party who cannot and will not win, I am shirking my responsibility as an adult who must participate.

So, we have concluded that the adult votes for one of the two who can win, so who are you voting for?

Paul Ryan Continues to Push Agenda Alternative to Donald Trump

http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2016/04/25/paul-ryan-continues-to-push-agenda-alternative-to-donald-trump/

Hmmm...

The House may be a tad light on the legislative front these days, largely focusing on bills like those that target the Internal Revenue Service and that have no chance of being signed by President Obama. But on the message front, Speaker Paul D. Ryan is keeping busy.

Mr. Ryan, who plans to roll out a policy platform this spring, has already been trying to build a social media and youth movement around the House Republican agenda. This week, Mr. Ryan will participate in a town-hall-style event at the Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service. In advance of that event, his office has rolled out its latest video holding up Mr. Ryan as a man with a plan, though the details of that plan, obliquely intended to distract from the presidential campaign of Donald J. Trump, are very much a work in progress.

The musicians of Democratic Underground know about Prince....

Easily one of the best rocknroll guitar players of all time, maybe in the top 5, think about what that means.

Played how many instruments? 12 I think.

Wrote songs that are masterpieces.

Performed them equally.

The guy was one of the greatest musicians, songwriters of all time, in a very very small group of unique and wonderful talents.

Gonna really miss him.

Makes me now wonder where Rolling Stone ranked him when they did the all time guitar players.

Just looked at Rolling Stone, that list is embarrassing. They got some of it right but most of it way wrong.

Lynching Clarence Thomas...

I am watching the movie, "Confirmation", and I was reminded of what the idiot said about being lynched.

Race only matters to Clarence when he can use it, per a line in the movie.

If a Clarence Thomas or an openly gay hater or openly black hater was appointed by a republican, the current republicans would still support that person.

Simple question for everybody, two maybe...

1. Prefer medicare for all/single payer or ACA (acknowledging up front ACA is a vast improvement over what we now have and Obama is to be considered a GREAT president for passing ACA)

2. Prefer $15 an hour MW over $12 or no change

3. Want wall street legislation that taxes them on transactions and use that money to build our infrastructure, or dont do that?

One person wants this and is willing to say so over and over, so what is wrong if he cant actually accomplish it all or overnight?

Dont we want someone who at least talks about this stuff and you know he means it?

We have one chance to elect someone who is truly different from the status quo, one.

And of course we will support Hillary if nominated, but how about we nominate Bernie instead!
