Reprisal on Hulu

Hooboy, where to begin?

If you like Pulp Fiction, Sons of Anarchy, and Fargo, and you don't mind lots of violence, then I can very highly recommend this 10-part series.

So very well done. No slow parts. Great story. Great acting.

Wow, I'm surprised nobody has been discussing it here.

Go watch it.

OK this will be controversial, but (apropos Turley)

Aren't lawyers trained to be able to argue both sides of an issue? I know they are. So being contrarian, in itself, is not wrong. I myself do this, in order to learn more about what i truly believe.

I'm trying to cut Turley some slack. So far, i dont especially find him disingenuous. And i agree about not rushing this.

Collins said "irregardless" -- not even a word!

His ignorance confirmed

Turley pontificating on bribery

reminds me of the saying about porn: you know it when you see it.

Turley is wasting his breath, especially on the public.

Need advice. Migrating from cell phone to larger device.

Long story short, been using Android cell phone for 100% of internet/digital needs. Time to add a more functional device.

I have experience in computer builds, but not ready to go there, yet.

Looking for interim solution. Cheap, but with a keyboard. Display larger than cellphone, for watching Netflix etc.

USB ports so I can dump my cellphone memory cards.

Having been solely dependent on cellphone, am tending to think a touchscreen would be really missed.

I'm used to the idea of being able to upgrade/swap components, but realize that is highly unlikely, for what I'm looking at now.

Bluetooth, for audio. Full size keyboard is best (USB?) Don't like Bluetooth keyboards, lag is off-putting.

I don't need it to be really portable, so size/weight not factors.

I don't want to have to buy an OS (ie, Win).

I especially want local storage, not a fan of the Cloud. USB HDD is fine for me.

Am I looking for a tablet? Laptop? Hybrid? Cheaper is better, under $300.

Any advice?

Instant Pot - need quick advice for Cyber Monday deal

The Duo 60 7-in-1 is $50 on Amazon today.

I know next to nothing about the various models, just that I want one. I have limited counter space so figure the 6qt is the way to go. My first dish will be Pho.

Should I just take the plunge, or are there options i may regret not having?

TIA

ETA: What features *doesn't* this model have, that I may regret not having? I saw one that bakes a cake, will this one?

ETA2: For another $15, this model has cake, egg and sterilize functions! I think my mind is made

Everyone everwhere has overheard a 3rd party on a cell phone

Trump just threw down a crystal gauntlet, shattered into billions of shards.

Even his diehard loyalists know how absurd his claim is.

The fact is, likely, that narcissist Trump never even wants to listen to anybody ever, so no doubt he usually doesn't hear people on cell phones even if they are in shouting.

Everyone: :crickets:

Fiona Hill for National Security Advisor? Sec Defense?

Whoever our next President is needs to appoint Fiona Hill to a very senior national security position.

She is a no-BS professional who should inspire bipartisan confidence.

Huge fan, here.

The way that black holes are detected is analogous to an indirect proof of Trump's guilt

You don't detect a black hole directly, but rather by the absence of what's around it.

Similarly, everyone around Trump *knew* about the de facto quid pro quo, but the absence of Trump actually ever saying it explicitly proves so clearly Trump's consciousness of guilt.

I'm not wording this well, but I hope the concept is clear. Help me word it better, please?

ETA: Maybe it's this, that considering *everyone* knew about the conditions, it's suspiciously conspicuously absent from Trump's mouth.
