The Host Committees finance chair is Daniel Hilferty. In his day job, Hilferty is CEO of Independence Blue Cross, a health insurance giant that covers nine million people. In December, Hilferty became board chairman of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association of America, a trade group that lobbies for the insurance industry, and he serves on the board of directors of Americas Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the insurance industry lobbying group that spearheaded the campaign against the Affordable Care Act. Lobby registration documents show the BCBS Association is actively supporting a number of Republican bills to roll back provisions of the ACA.
Anyone thinking it was time for America to be shocked to its senses with a Trump administration can relax now ... there is no need to vote for Trump in order to cause a crisis that will wake up America to the need to rebuild a progressive party in America ... Hillary and the 3rd way seem to be well equipped to tear apart the social fabric all on its own.
Not a real Democrat, just someone who's going to dismantle Obama's ACA ...
https://theintercept.com/2016/05/11/lobbyists-dnc-2016-convention/Some of the members of the 2016 Democratic National Convention Host Committee, whose job is to organize the logistics and events for the convention, are hardly even Democratic Party stalwarts, given that many have donated and raised thousands of dollars for Republican presidential and congressional candidates this cycle.

Not sure if there's any other way to take this than as minimizing Bernie's love for his step-grandchildren.
Clinton disses Sanders 'not actual' grandchildren?

Maine Super Delegates are forced to be democratic - Another win for the good side
http://usuncut.com/politics/maine-democratic-party-just-got-rid-superdelegate-system/An amendment to eliminate the influence of superdelegates just passed overwhelmingly at the Maine Democratic Partys statewide convention.
Rep. Diane Russell (D-Portland), who introduced the amendment, told US Uncut that the measure was passed by a single voice vote, followed by chants of Ber-nie! Ber-nie!
I never expected this kind of response from the amendment, Russell said in a phone interview.
The adoption of the amendment means that Maines superdelegate votes will now be allocated proportionally according to the overall popular vote, rather than each superdelegate having complete autonomy. Currently, three of Maines five superdelegates are supporting Hillary Clinton, with one supporting Bernie Sanders and one who remains uncommitted to either candidate. Under the new rules, Sanders, who won the Maine caucus with 64 percent of the vote, would have three superdelegates to Clintons two.

Misperceiving Bullshit as Profound Is Associated with Favorable Views of Candidates
No surprise, Clinton supporters seem to sit high on the 'susceptible to BS' scale.
http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0153419#sec001
Abstract
The present research investigates the associations between holding favorable views of potential Democratic or Republican candidates for the US presidency 2016 and seeing profoundness in bullshit statements. In this contribution, bullshit is used as a technical term which is defined as communicative expression that lacks content, logic, or truth from the perspective of natural science. We used the Bullshit Receptivity scale (BSR) to measure seeing profoundness in bullshit statements. The BSR scale contains statements that have a correct syntactic structure and seem to be sound and meaningful on first reading but are actually vacuous. Participants (N = 196; obtained via Amazon Mechanical Turk) rated the profoundness of bullshit statements (using the BSR) and provided favorability ratings of three Democratic (Hillary Clinton, Martin OMalley, and Bernie Sanders) and three Republican candidates for US president (Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Donald Trump). Participants also completed a measure of political liberalism/conservatism. Results revealed that favorable views of all three Republican candidates were positively related to judging bullshit statements as profound. The smallest correlation was found for Donald Trump. Although we observe a positive association between bullshit and support for the three Democrat candidates, this relationship is both substantively small and statistically insignificant. The general measure of political liberalism/conservatism was also related to judging bullshit statements as profound in that individuals who were more politically conservative had a higher tendency to see profoundness in bullshit statements. Of note, these results were not due to a general tendency among conservatives to see profoundness in everything: Favorable views of Republican candidates and conservatism were not significantly related to profoundness ratings of mundane statements. In contrast, this was the case for Hillary Clinton and Martin OMalley. Overall, small-to-medium sized correlations were found, indicating that far from all conservatives see profoundness in bullshit statements.

Way to go NY Times ... I suppose the bullshit timing requires less explanation than simply just firing the reporter.
NY Times held off releasing Hillary 'war hawk' article until 2 days

Town hall, Clinton: Buzz off Sanders supporters, I'm the winner here and you'll listen to me!

Red notes with arrows point to counties that were projected to be "heavy" Clinton counties.
Yellow numbers in counties are how much Bernie won by in 'leaning Hillary' counties.
Bernie won all the "heavy" and "leaning" Bernie counties, except Onondaga (Syracuse) a 'leaning Bernie' county, which he lost by 6 point. Bernie won all his other 'heavy and leaning Sanders' counties, usually by very large majorities.
The only "heavy" Clinton counties Hillary won were Erie (Buffalo) by 0.8 points, and Monroe (Rochester) by 3.6 points
Hillary lost all her "leaning Clinton" counties, usually by lots
So, now when we move down to the more NYC centered counties, the counties where there was lots of BoE "mistakes' made, all of a sudden Hillary kills it in landslides? Possibly I suppose, but it sure as hell is pretty suspicious.
Some interesting results for projected "Hillary' counties outside of NYC area
