Coincidence
Coincidence's JournalScarborough's evisceration of Donald Trump
I'm not much of a fan of Joe, but I have to admit that he has grown on me just a little this primary season by being an unlikely source of Sanders support and calling out the DNC and the Clinton campaign on their bullshit.
Morning Joe was particularly entertaining today, I highly anticipate The Donald's response.
That Bernie is still a contender despite his significant disadvantages speaks volumes about Hillary.
Hillary has enjoyed perhaps the most undemocratically advantaged primary campaign we've ever seen. The benefactors of the status quo have stacked the deck against Bernie in every way possible, yet despite even sabotage from his own party he is still standing and fighting.
This has exposed how weak Hillary "Electable" Clinton actually is, on a level playing field she wouldn't stand a chance. Imagine if Bernie had the same support that Hillary enjoys from "the establishment", i.e. the media, the DNC, his Democratic peers at all levels of government, the donor class, etc. We would be done talking primaries, the only Democratic debating going on would be Bernie and Jane deciding on a color for the oval office window curtains.
Despite her current lead and whether or not she ultimately "wins" the nomination, Clinton supporters can't feel good about this at all.
So which is it, TARP or the '94 Crime Bill?
It sounds like it can't be both, so should Bernie Sanders have:
A) pinched his nose and voted for the crime bill because of the included violence vs women provisions and assault weapons ban
B) taken a principled stand against TARP to oppose sending another $350b to Wall Street despite the comparatively tiny $4b auto bailout that was tacked onto it?
