AOC. Turn our fear into fuel, this is a vote to let our democracy live another day.

She is eloquent, inclusive, and this comes naturally to her.

Just now at Trump Rally, a maskless Hope Hicks: "We can share a mic now."

You will remember Hope Hicks as the white house staffer who contracted Covid.

Apparently, she and Trump think they're bulletproof now.

So, apparently, do the maskless supporters in attendance.

Interested in ratings? YouTube views indicate 153,660 vs 507,445 viewers at end of events

I'm not sure if any Nielsen ratings are out yet but a lot of folks watch online.

Song for these times. Mary Chapin Carpenter, "Stones in the Road"

If you were growing up in the 60s/70s, this song will have even greater impact.

Stones in the Road
Mary Chapin Carpenter

When we were young we pledged allegiance
Every morning of our lives
The classroom rang with children's voices
Under teacher's watchful eye

We learned about the world around us
At our desks and at dinner time
Reminded of the starving children
We cleaned our plates with guilty minds

And the stones in the road
Shone like diamonds in the dust
And then a voice called to us
To make our way back home

When I was ten my father held me
On his shoulders above the crowd
To see a train draped in mourning
Pass slowly through our town

His widow kneeled with all their children
At the sacred burial ground
And the TV glowed that long hot summer
With all the cities burning down

And the stones in the road
Flew out beneath our bicycle tires
Worlds removed from all those fires
As we raced each other home

And now we drink our coffee on the run
We climb that ladder rung by rung
We are the daughters and the sons
And here's the line that's missing

The starving children have been replaced
By souls out on the street
We give a dollar when we pass
And hope our eyes don't meet

We pencil in we cancel out
We crave the corner suite
We kiss your ass, we make you hold
We doctor the receipt

And the stones in the road
They fly out from beneath our wheels
Another day, another deal
Before we get back home
Stones in the road

Leave a mark whence they came
A thousands points of light or shame
Baby, I don't know

Ron Paul suffers possible stroke or medical issue during live stream

This is sad to see for anyone.

I'm no fan of Ron Paul, I confess I wish this was happening to Trump instead but beyond that I just am sad to see this happen to anyone yet it's in the news and so I'm posting it.

Will I develop Herd Mentality even for your more Strenuous Flu?

Ya know the touch, the touch thing, this is the air, it's more deadly than your strenuous flus.

Asking for a friend.

Like Hitler, Trump absconded with works of art during visit to France.

When ICE is performing hysterectomies on detainees in their concentration camp, the comparison of Trump to Hitler becomes spot on. This is just an additional feature:

Trump Ended 2018 France Trip Having Art Loaded on Air Force One

Chic Mansion

The story unfolded like this: While in Paris with other world leaders to commemorate the centennial of the end of World War I, Trump stayed at the official residence of U.S. Ambassador Jamie McCourt, the palatial HŰtel de Pontalba. The mansion, in Parisís chic 8th arrondissement, dates to 1842. It has served as a flagship of the State Departmentís ďArt in EmbassiesĒ cultural diplomacy program, and is open to tours.

The presidentís planned visit to the Belleau Wood cemetery was canceled when rainy weather grounded the presidential helicopter, according to a redacted email the White House released to rebut the Atlantic story. The U.S. Secret Service ruled out a motorcade for the 56-mile drive, according to two people familiar with the matter.

That left Trump with about six hours of free time in the ambassadorís residence.

The next day, Trump pointed out a Benjamin Franklin bust, a Franklin portrait and a set of figurines of Greek mythical characters, and insisted the pieces come back with him to Washington.

So, we got jackbooted thugs in minivans, we got illegal forced medical procedure done by feds in detainee camps, we have deals with dictators worldwide, demonization of the press, and countless other facist acts.

What the fuck?
