I am calling for action!
I am surprised that no one has done this already.
I am calling for a General Strike on January 20, 2017. It will be a simple two-part action:
1. Call in sick, or take a vacation day for Friday January 20, 2017.
2. Institute a 'black-out' for all major news outlets for the entire day, AND let them know, through email, or other method. that they are largely responsible for this disaster, and their precious advertisements, or their witless commentary, will not be viewed for that day.
3. (Optional): Inform local news outlets of intent, hoping they will unwittingly help recruit protesters/participants.
