For those that can't handle good election news. Please ignore my post please.

Unless you are phone banking, I don't want to hear negative shit.

15 million hand written letters to be mailed by thousands of volunteers tomorrow

I only wrote 70. It takes some time to hand write and hand address letters, but the vote forward big send is tomorrow. Thousands of volunteers are calling folks to get to the polls early and to vote by mail early. These letters are designed to get unlikely registered Democratic leaning voters in key states to vote November 3rd. I hope for massive early and mail-in voting and a surge of unlikely Democratic voters on November 3rd. There is a lot of hard "behind the scenes" work going on by the good guys this year.

Cast my vote today in Tejas! Go Biden, Hegar, Vela and all the other Democrats I voted for!

I checked it several times. Didn't vote for one Retrumplican.

The fly will be the main thing remembered

I wasn’t watching the debate and my wife and son were laughing and my son yelled “Dad there is a fly on Pence’s head” we laughed for a few minutes. After it flew off I stopped watching again

Trump is largest source of misinformation

for COVID-19. Would more lives be saved if he died?

I will be writing letters for vote forward tonight

Which state should I choose? PA, FL, NC, OH or AZ

I visit Santa Fe on occasion and was always reminded of her walking through downtown.

The town loved her and she loved Santa Fe. She was a wonderful Supreme Court Justice and Person.

I have been thinking about our situation right now and how important it is for Democrats and left/moderate Independents to come together as one unit. I often think of the Will Rogers quote “I am not a member of any organized political party — I am a Democrat. ” In today's environment, we do not have this luxury. We must be more united than the republicans. Our tent can be big, but it must be united and motivated even if we don't get exactly what we want when we want it. This includes off season elections. Our Democracy depends on it. We can blame faux news or rush limpball, but we must unite ourselves. We have the power. Otherwise we get what we get.

Are DU members doing anything to help win the election?

I challenge DU to post what they did to help win the election.

Complaining and worry doesn't accomplish much. For example, you could post how many swing state letters you wrote for Swing Left or Vote Forward. You could post what you have done for Vote Save America? Did you give some money to Democratic candidates? Are you working for your county or state Democratic Party?

To be honest all I see are posts about polls. I saw plenty of that during the 2016 election. Isn't specific effective action more important?

I am so guilty of not being involved in past elections. This time, I am writing letters for Vote Forward each weekend and give to the Biden Campaign, Wisconsin Democrats, Powered by People, and 10 Democratic Senate Candidates each month. I plan to do more and would like to see what others are doing.

I have included a link to a video that has inspired me about what the Wisconsin Democrats have done and how they won the Supreme Court Race during the pandemic.
