Democrats introduce the 'MAR-A-LAGO Act'

A group of Democratic members of Congress are playing the clever acronym game again.

One of the latest to be introduced and to target the Trump administration: the "Making Access Records Available to Lead American Government Openness Act."

Yes, the "MAR-A-LAGO Act."

The legislation would require the publication of White House visitor logs, something that was done regularly by the Obama administration but has since ended since President Trump took office.

Any connection between Freedom Caucus and Kochs with Bannon, Brieitbart ?

Could some of you educate me as to whether any of the above are connected to any of the others? It would seem they would have the same goals. Maybe the Kochs want world domination and Bannon wants Russian domination?

So help me out DU... Thanks.

Man adopts 18-year-old dog: 'I couldn't let her spend 1 more night in the shelter'

Pet Adoption Saves Lives. Theirs and ours..

"At the age of 18, at the end of February, Julep the dog found herself in an animal shelter instead of at home.

Julep's person — who'd loved her very much, for a very long time — had just died. Family was unable to take care of the white-faced dog."

Lingerie Company Asked to Remove Ads Featuring Curvy & Disabled Models

“Body shaming is real.”

So declares the women behind the Georgia-based lingerie company LiviRae, who were allegedly asked to remove photos of curvy and differently-abled models from their Kennesaw storefront.

LiviRae CEO Molly Hopkins told Today that the shop’s property manager told her the photos featured in the company’s latest body-positive campaign, Real Bras, Real Women, Real Stories, were “in poor taste.”
