LakeArenal's JournalDoes anybody have a good tip for me...
I have gotten a few:
Dont pick your nose on the bumper cars.
Dont brush your teeth with a brick.
Dont wear spurs in the life raft.
Dont stick a steak knife in your eye.
(That is one from our life. My husband did it. Its a good tip)
Anyway, DU must have some good tips for me. Thanks🤗
Malia O rocks....
including her new hairstyle. All the Obamas wear clothes so well. They should start their own line...
Unique and Cool...
I am told my strange red-bellied woodpecker is Leucitic.. meaning he or she has a pigment deficiency.
Sure is cool.
supposed to look more like him:
Mam, what we have here is a ditch weed problem.
If I planted good seeds there, they wouldnt grow. Believe me, I know.
Mr. L's Lyric Challenge III
Hey Homebound Memorial Day celebrators..Thought another lyric challenge will keep us entertained.
Post a song lyric you love. Put no titles or artists in the post.
If you want to guess someone's lyric, do not answer in the Thread Title. Place answers only in the body of the post so other people can have the opportunity of guess. ( Don't worry, some make that mistake. Someone will remind you not to post song title in thread title).
Repeats from other challenges okay. Try not to be too obscure, as half the fun is finding a kindred spirit who knows your tune. However, one person's obscure is another's playlist favorite.
I will start with a few songs:
1. And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind her tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years (Super Band for eternity)
2. Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
3. World pollution, there's no solution
Institution, electrocution
Just black and white, rich or poor
Them and us, stop the war (70's)
A prize turkey is determined by the size of its boney spur.
We sure have a prize turkey in the Whitehouse. Hopefully no one will be pardoning him on Thanksgiving.
I was strolling thru the woods today, in this very merry month of May....
When I was taken by surprise, by this pair roguish eyes.
I that moment my poor heart was stole away..
Just 30 feet from our garage. I was riding a lawn mower. Took me a second to realize, go back to the house and fetch my camera..
Sigh.. Life Is Good (LIG)
