How much do you enjoy a shower?

As much as this rhino calf???

Anyone here at the DU responsible for demonic activity?

Because it's getting out of control, you know?

An Irish priest has put out an urgent call for backup to help with the growing demand for exorcisms in the country, according to reports.

“It’s only in recent years that the demand [for exorcisms] has risen exponentially,” Father Pat Collins said, adding that anyone who doesn’t see the need for more exorcists is “out of touch with reality.” Collins wrote an open letter to Irish bishops asking them to begin training more priests to deal with exorcisms, and he cited the International Association of Exorcists’ belief that demonic activity has increased substantially in recent years.

Each Catholic diocese in Ireland is required to have a trained exorcist who can identify whether a person is suffering from mental illness or has been possessed.

Collins has been speaking out about the activities of what he has called “the evil one” for years. He is widely considered Ireland’s most prominent exorcist, and he has also advocated for the church to take a more active role in demon hunting.

God forgives Trump and Stormy Daniels for their affair

So says good ol' Kirk Cameron:

“Trump is similar to biblical figures like David and Paul,” said Cameron. “They sinned but God forgave them and they did great things for Christians. I’m sure God has looked into Trump’s heart and forgiven him and he will do great things for the faith community.”

Nice to see that Kirk maintains a direct line with the Lord and savior!

Here's an alternative POV:

New Cooperstown Baseball HoF inductees announced

Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens remain on the outside looking in for at least another year...

Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, Jim Thome and Trevor Hoffman were elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, it was announced Wednesday.

Jones and Thome were both elected in their first year of eligibility. This is the fourth time that the Baseball Writers' Association of America has elected four players in a year (1947, 1955, 2015).

The four will join veterans committee inductees Jack Morris and Alan Trammell in entering the Hall of Fame on July 29 in Cooperstown, New York.

Refugees, a matter of perception

Most Republicans read this, and believe it, from top to bottom.

Most Democrats believe in these words from bottom to top (try reading it from the last line to the first)...

Quit horsing around!

Al Pacino as Joe Paterno in HBO movie teaser trailer

Anyone here planning to catch this? It focuses on Paterno during the Jerry Sandusky scandal. Paterno died from lung cancer in 2012.

There's bound to be more previews in the coming weeks. No air date yet, just "coming this spring."

The dog used the door. He's a good boy, right???

Would your vehicle insurance cover this???

Happened in Tennessee.

Brother Buzz, a S.F. Giants acquisition that even you can approve of!

They got Andrew McCutcheon from the Pirates! He had a bit of an off-year offensively last season but at age 31, he still has some gas in the tank if they can sew him up for more than a season.

AND the Giants didn't give up their future to swing the deal!

Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported the Pirates will get pitcher Kyle Crick and "one other mid-range prospect" from the Giants. Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle previously reported top prospects Tyler Beede, Chris Shaw and Heliot Ramos were not involved in the trade.
