FEMA says there’s not much interest in the offer to evacuate hurricane Maria survivors out of Puerto Rico to the mainland. It’s part of TSA.
We haven’t met 1 person who’s not interested. On tonight’s @CBSEveningNews, @RepDarrenSoto says “I don't think they are really listening”

Site tracking Russian twitter trolls shows they're consistently posting on Syria

HAMILTON 68: TRACKING RUSSIAN INFLUENCE OPERATIONS ON TWITTER

Top Themes

Between October 21 and November 3, we examined 121 unique articles that were among the top URLs shared by Kremlin-oriented Twitter accounts. Of those URLs, 30% were anti-Hillary Clinton, 11% were anti-Robert Mueller, 7% were anti-Barack Obama, and 4% were anti-Tony Podesta (several URLs attacked a combination of or all of the above figures). The most common theme was collusion between Democrats and Russia: the Uranium One deal and the DNC’s funding of the Trump dossier were common points of emphasis (featured in 14% and 11% of all URLs respectively). Republican critics of the president—John McCain, Jeff Flake, Bob Corker, and even Rex Tillerson—were each the focus of one negative article. Eight URLs (7%) focused on the terror attacks in Manhattan, with half of the stories promoting anti-Islam or anti-immigration narratives, including three stories that blamed Democrats for the diversity visa lottery program. Other prominent topics were sexual misconduct in Hollywood (5%), NFL anthem protests (3%), and Vegas conspiracy theories (3%). As usual, Syria was the most common geopolitical topic (9% of all URLs).

Q: Did people in DU know about Russia hacking DEMS emails in May of last year?

This post is from May last year!!!

Sat May 21, 2016, 06:51 PM

Rumor has it the Russians have many of them

Can you imagine them doing a public dump of her email, say... October 21st or thereabouts?

Anybody who has copies of those has an incredible amount of blackmail power of her. Disqualifying in and of itself.

Chechen pop star missing for three months believed to be rounded up in anti-gay assaults

A Chechen pop singer has been missing for three months, and human rights groups believe he’s fallen victim to the quasi-independent nation’s vigorous anti-gay attacks.

Zelimkhan Bakaev departed Moscow on Aug. 6 for his sister’s wedding in Chechnya. Within two days he was missing after arriving in the capital of Grozny.

Tanya Lokshina, a Moscow-based activist at Human Rights Watch, told NBC News he was likely rounded up by agents of the Chechen government, where he once excelled to stardom.

“There were quite a few witnesses,” she told the network. “He was dragged into a car, and he disappeared. It’s been about three months.”

It’s considered dangerous to be gay in Chechnya, a half-autonomous province in Russia, whose leader has denied the purges are taking place.

Bakaev never said in public he was gay, but it was rumored throughout Russia, according to NBC News.

Reports spilled out last month that he was tortured and murdered, but those were unconfirmed.

“It is indeed possible he's alive, and we hope if he's alive he will be released,” Lokshina told NBC News.

How to find and claim missing money in your name:

I have used these sites the last two years and both times found & got "missing" money for my family from different states. You get the whole amount.

https://www.unclaimed.org/

http://www.missingmoney.com/

Ways to find unclaimed money in your name

1. Unclaimed funds

Unclaimed money from bank accounts, insurance policies, rental and utility deposits, safe deposit boxes and other places could be hanging out there somewhere in your name. All you need to know is how to check and collect it without paying any fees.

It’s particularly easy if you have a unique last name. Simply go to MissingMoney.com and punch in your name to do a database search of available unclaimed funds across all states. With one click of your mouse, you can cover the entire spectrum of what’s available.

Please note that not every single state participates. If you live in a state that doesn’t participate with this free site, there’s one more option for you: Unclaimed.org. This website is a clearinghouse for the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators.

Also, if you ever had an FHA home loan, HUD may be sitting on refund money for you. Go to HUD.gov and see if you’re in their refund database.

2. Former pension plan

Millions of dollars in pension benefits go unclaimed, usually after companies go out of business or close their plans. When this happens, if the company can’t find you, your pension money goes to the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., a government agency that protects retirement income. If you think you may have an unclaimed former pension plan, check the PBGC’s unclaimed pensions database to see if you’re on the list of people owed benefits and what to do next.

3. Old bank account

4. Check the IRS

5. Savings bonds

If you get some monies, please come back and let me know.
