Trump rolls back regulations on energy-saving lightbulbs

The Trump administration on Wednesday announced that it will roll back requirements for more energy-efficient lightbulbs, introducing a set of rules that could lead to increased greenhouse gas emissions that accelerate global warming.

The filing from the Energy Department would prevent new efficiency requirements from implementation on Jan. 1 under a previous law passed in 2007 during President George W. Bush’s administration. That law phased out inefficient incandescent and halogen bulbs, and was approved with bipartisan support in Congress.

The law passed during GWB is being rolled back. GWB was too environmental for this president. Let that sink in.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders becomes Fox News contributor

Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is joining Fox News as a contributor, the network announced Thursday.

Sanders, who left the Trump administration roughly two months ago, will appear on various Fox platforms to provide political commentary. She will make her first appearance on "Fox & Friends" during its Sept. 6 broadcast.

Sanders worked on the Trump campaign and later in the White House, where she spent approximately two years as press secretary. In that role, she oversaw the demise of the daily press briefing and had an at-times strained relationship with the press corps.

Note: bolding by me.

Just thought we should know...

What law would have stopped even half of the last 10 mass shootings?

We can propose this and that but short of banning guns and having people turn them in would any of these proposals really make a difference. It seems to me that only riding society of these guns will mass shootings start to decrease. I'm open to hear what specific laws would have stopped any of the last 10 mass shootings though.

TRump dredges up old Bernnie sanders comments on Baltimore.

Trying to brand Bernnie a racist will not stick. He is honorable and not a racist. He sees bernnie as a 2020 threat clearly.
