Any candidate than wins the nom is electible.

They become the standard bearer for the most popular of two national parties.

All it takes from there is an inspiring campaign and tireless focus from Democratic grass roots supporters nationwide.

Let the best candidate earn the nom and we'll win this pivotal election. The right mix of policy and personality will emerge from an open and rigorous primary season. Let's dominate the news cycle with the quality and quantity of our candidates and our bold ideas to address pressing problems.

Other than charisma, what's the case for Beto?

He has limited officeholder experience compared to many in the field, and he lost his last run for office.

Does he have key issues that are his passion?

A candidate is needed that can win and that will govern effectively. I hope all the candidates make their case in both areas.

Thanks for your service, Dr. Jenkins.

You left us with big shoes to fill as we face the issues of Justice in our time. RIP.
