Isn't Trump's behavior so egregiously bad right now he should be in custody pending trial?
Why a plea bargain with the TFG is nearly impossible.
Lots of us have wondered if a bargain could be struck that would have TFG permanently exiting politics, disappearing from the public eye, and generally STFU in exchange for no prosecution.
Ah, no. TFG is a complete sociopath who would renege on any bargain in a heartbeat. Then what? Litigate that? Besides, what prosecutor could make a case for letting TFG go with any bargain given what we know now?
Maybe if ritual suicide is part of the deal.
If 40% of Americans think that TFG is God's Instrument and...
...40% think he's Putin's asset, how does this not end in civil war?

Right now, DOJ can either indict/prosecute/incarcerate, or....
... just hand TFG the keys to the White House.
Given the public disclosures so far, there don't seem to be any other choices available.

Given their complete indifference to the disclosures of massively illegal acts being perpetrated in Merde-a-Lardo, they'd do just as well with a statue of TFG in their living room and spend their evenings kissing its feet.

The idea that some investigation will uncover some spectacularly smelly act by TFG that will cause his supporters to flee from him is a dead horse and we need to stop beating it.
Do what's necessary to put him and his cronies literally behind bars and to confiscate their assets. And don't be all damn day about it.
Medical question:
Would an OB/GYN in a forced-birth state be reluctant to induce labor because some of the meds typically used (oxytocin) are also sometimes used in abortions?
