Could this shutdown last months? Years?
I was sure it would be over by now. People are really starting to hurt.
If Trump won't budge, are their legal means are available to force him to budge?
Impeachment proceedings? What about an injunction? 25th amendment? This cannot be allowed to last much longer.
Can Mueller order Trump to resume government, since this amounts to essentially obstruction of justice (funding of his investigation)?
Can Pelosi declare an emergency and provide funding?
I just can't believe that we are at the mercy of this man.

Trump should be impeached for the shutdown alone.
The Mueller probe will continue of course, but could go on for years.
This shutdown, the longest in world history is a solid reason and cannot be denied.
Perhaps the new congress can advance things up a little.
