There is probably some technical/medical term for diarrhea of the mouth, but it seems more befitting to use the common term. And it is what Li'l Donnie has mastered being a celebrity. He has "great ideas", but he doesn't take the time to sit down and think them through or get them organized. Instead, he spouts something off the cuff and expects us to believe that sometime down the road he will make good--at least partially. The problem is that, now he is in the WH, the country hangs on every word, expecting more precise details of how he will act. Examples include: I will release my taxes, plan to get rid of ISIS, and Obama tapped my phones.
Words addressed to a TV audience do not have huge consequences. Words addressed to a nation have major consequences. Li'l Donnie is habituated to think in terms of speaking as a celebrity, not as a statesman. We must remember this fact before getting wound up over his latest statement or tweet.
Does this shift the burden of proof somehow: "wiretapping"?
So what if he meant "general surveillance", doesn't he still have to provide proof?
I can't believe I am actually trying to argue against republican logic...

I'm so sick of this crap!
I was wiretapped because of Obama. Therefore we should investigate who called for the wiretap and not why it was called for and what it produced.
ACA was bad and all my health problems are Obama's fault. Therefore, we should repeal ACA asap without a viable substitute.
Add your own to the list. What it boils down to is the repukes have a perennial scapegoat in Obama because he is black and they are racist.

Mattis did not recommend troops on the ground a month ago. Now we have troops (excuse me, "advisors"
on the ground. If tRump's strategy is to get us firmly involved so that congress must declare war, I would think Mattis would step in and condemn it. I haven't seen any comment from Mattis recently, so I don't know if he has turned to the dark side yet. Is sending troops a trial balloon to see how American's respond, or it is setting the stage for something bigger?

Why are state and local police not speaking out?
Remember how last year they wanted to charge Li'l Donnie with hate speech? It didn't come to anything, but at least it was out there, sort of as a warning. Now it seems like every day there is a shooting, act of vandalism, or arson. The police have to clean up these messes, and there is a direct connection between them and the hate that comes from the WH. Doesn't it seem like they would be more vocal? Yes, they could be afraid of losing their jobs, but there are ways to protest that are not as overt. Simply reporting these acts to the media every time they happen and emphasizing the nutty, political reasons behind them would go a long way.
If tRump and CO came out and admitted
to everything we already know, under oath, and replied to any and all questions without lying...What would happen?
I really don't think anything would happen. The GOP and tRump supporters would praise tRump for being honest, and the MSM would call him "presidential".
I need reassurance that this can be fixed
I've been a foul mood the last couple of days, and I think it has to do with losing hope that we can ever get back to (at least) where we were under Obama. So much destruction has already happened in such a short amount of time. I don't know if I can handle a slow recovery, something that takes years.
