I thought I heard Trump is giving Jim Jordan the idiot representative from Ohio a Medal Of Freedom. Isn't that reserved for people that help humanity? What the hell did Jordon do? Or, is there another Jim Jordan that did something to deserve such an honor and it's just a mix up, like the 4 Seasons thing?
Every time I need a laugh during these trying times...
all I have to do is think of how these idiots that stormed the Capitol all recorded themselves breaking the law. They literally provided the police with all the evidence they will need to go after the morons for months.

Such people do exist. I know several. There is nothing that says "first world problems" more than someone who has a good life and retirement going, yet complains about unions, especially when it was a union that helped them get what they currently have.
I'm to the point where I don't even try to reason with such people. I avoided a lot of discussions this Holiday Season.
About those kilt-wearing Proud Boys
Who says the Proud Boys are just a bunch of dummies? Think about it. They had to come up with that plan, purchase matching kilts, learn how to spell two words, then bend over bare- assed in each other's faces so they could write those two words on each other's butt cheeks. I'm certain for a Proud Boy that's got to be a big accomplishment.

I went to the BMV today to renew my license and found out something I wasn't aware of. "Beginning October 1, 2021, the federal government will no longer consider standard driver licenses and identification cards as sufficient forms of identification for air travel. TSA will require a federally compliant driver license, identification card or another acceptable form of identification (such as a US passport or military ID) to fly within the U.S."
That's on the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicle website! When did that become a requirement? To get one they require all sorts of identification I didn't have, so I just got a "non-compliant" one till October.
This doesn't sound like the "land of the free" to me.

Why banking institutions piss me off
I have a savings account with a certain bank. I'm not rich, but it's a rather good sum for someone like me that worked for the man all my life. I don't pay much attention to it, and try not to draw from it.
Well, some things came up and I had to dip into my savings. Since I don't pay a lot of attention to this account, I didn't notice that the bank started deducting money from the account every month. Apparently I had dropped below a certain magical dollar amount in my account and triggered a rather large "service charge". They got me for 3 months of "service charges" before one of the tellers that knows me pointed it out to me. If she hadn't told me they would have systematically taken money out every month, witling away my money. What exactly were they doing to earn this "service charge"? The only thing I can figure, it was to pay themselves for the trouble of deducting money from my account and keeping track of how much they were taking from me each month. That takes a lot of work, I'm sure.
Then came the most baffling part.
The teller said she would switch me to an account that didn't charge a service fee.
You mean "it's as simple as that?" I questioned.
"Yes" she said as she clicked her computer mouse to change me to a non- service charging account.
Damn, now that Sidney Powell isn't on the Trump legal team
