When someone says Putin didn't invade Ukraine until Biden became president...

Correct their narrative by saying "Putin didn't invade Ukraine until Trump lost reelection and incited January 6th".

The "big lie" has done more to weaken American democracy and the world view of America than anything else in recent history. Biden and the Democrats had nothing to do with that, except to beat Trump in the election. The "big lie" falls right into the playbook of Putin, and don't think he didn't notice.

Then, after you've explained that, tell them to shut up and start supporting America and her current president who is trying to fix what Trump screwed up.

Here is something we can all do on a local level to help stop the right- wing propaganda

Call, write, and email your local radio stations that carry shows with hosts that are essentially pro- Russian in their narrative and implore them to be on the side of democracy in the world. Ukraine needs support, and right-wing bullshit is not helping. Flood these station with correspondence that brings light to the shameful way they are undermining Biden during a time of world crisis. They may not listen, but they need to hear how traitorous they are.

I had to laugh yesterday

One of our local radio talk show hosts was taking calls about the situation in Ukraine. He's a Limbaugh-want-to-be in a local radio market that never thought his callers would literally turn on him in favor of putting down a democracy. He's been a Trump supporter all the way, but he's at least smart enough to know praising Putin over a democracy like Ukraine is not something he wants on his resume.

He found himself in a bit of a pickle as he was taking callers who were claiming that Biden was wrong to back Ukraine, and that Trump is right when he says "the US should be friends with Russia". After years of bashing democrats, he literally found himself praising Biden for doing the right thing by backing Ukraine. For the first time in years he was doing something right. I hope this is happening other places.

Is it just me, or do the separatists in Ukraine not resemble the Trump supporters here in the US?

I'm thinking the similarity comes from the way both groups complain that they are being persecuted in their democracy, and that things would be better with an autocrat in charge.

It could just be that both groups are being played.

It's way past time for Trumpers to start actually standing up for America.

Personally, I wouldn't trust Trump to not pass along secrets to our adversaries.

Every now and then it happens, some idiot in an ego- enhancing pickup truck tail gates me and blows the horn for no apparent reason.

I think I figured it out today. I have a peace sign sticker on my van that is just below the back window. I truly think morons are being triggered by it.
