If Ben Cardin decides not to seek re-election to the US Senate in 2024.

Who will Ben Cardin, Chris Van Hollen, and Steny Hoyer endorse in the 2024 MD Democratic Primary Election for the US Senate?

Will they go the traditional route and endorse John Sarbanes or Jamie Raskin?
Will they make a bold decision and endorse Angela Alsobrooks?

Angela Alsobrooks is a single black mother who got her Bachelors degree at Duke University and Law Degree at University of Maryland while John Sarbanes and Jamie Raskin are white males who attended Harvard University. Raskin got his Bachelors and Law Degree at Harvard and Sarbanes got his Bachelors Degree at Princeton University and Law Degree at Harvard.

How strong or weak are the 2024 Republican US Nominees in MT,OH,and WV?

MT(Zinke-R or Rosendale-R)
OH(Dolan-R,Davidson-R,or LaRose-R) I like to keep an eye on Mark Kvamme a race car driver and venture capitalist and Vivek Ramaswamy a healthcare and technology executive.
WV(Mooney-R or Justice-R)

In AZ, I like to see David Schweikert run that way the Democrats(Jevin Hodge-D) can win Schweikertís AZ-1cd US House seat. Schweikert defeated Hodge in 2022 by a .8 percent margin. A 3 way race between Gallego-D/Schweikert-R/Sinema-I.
MI(Lisa McClain-R)
PA(Barnette-R,McCormick-R,or Garrity-R)
VA(Youngkin-R or Hung Cao-R(Republican nominee for the 2022 US House Election in VA-10).
WI(Mike Gallagher-R)

What is more likely to happen in 2028?

Republicans winning the 2028 US Senate Elections in GA(Warnock-D vs Kemp-R) or Democrats winning the 2028 US Senate Elections in NC(Budd-R vs Nickel-D) and WI(Johnson-R vs Rodriguez-D)?

2026 and 2028 will be the years Democrats gaining seats in the US Senate.
In 2026, Democrats hold onto GA(Ossoff-D) and MI(Peters-D) and pick up NC(Tillis-R vs Jackson-D).
In 2028, Democrats hold onto GA(Warnock-D) and NV(Cortez Masto-D) and pick up NC(Budd-R vs Nickel-D) and WI(Johnson-R vs Rodriguez-D).

US Senate seats that the Democrats have to win in 2026 in order to regain control of the US Senate.

Worst case scenario for Democrats in 2024 is losing WV and MT.
Democrats need to win every Democratic held US Senate seat up for re-election in 2026 including GA(Ossoff-D) and MI(Peters-D) and pick up NC(Tillis-R) and ME(Collins-R if open)
In 2026 Democrats will win
MA(Markey-D or Moulton-D)
RI(Reed-D or Magaziner-D)
DE(Coons-D)
OR(Merkley-D)
NJ(Booker-D)
IL(Durbin-D or Krishnamoorhi-D)
CO(Hickenlooper-D or Polis-D)
NH(Shaheen-D or Pappas-D)
VA(Warner-D)
NM(Lujan-D)
MN(Smith-D)
MI(Peters-D)
GA(Ossoff-D) avoids a 12/2026 runoff.
NC(Jackson-D)
ME(Golden-D if he doesnít replace King in 2024.)

How does Beshear-D do against McConnell-R in KY?

IA will have 2 US Senate Elections in 2026.
Regular Election is Ernst-R
Special Election is Grassley-R(Pat Grassley succeeds his grandfather Chuck.)
There is no top tier Democrat in IA except Rob Sand who is more likely to run for Governor than the US Senate.

Could the Democrats win the 2026 TX US Senate Election if Cornyn retires?

Colin Allred narrowly loses to Ted Cruz in 2024 then runs for Cornynís US Senate seat in 2026.

The Republican candidates for Cornynís seat.
TX US Representatives Michael Cloud or Michael McCaul.

Democrats could also get Lizzie Fletcher to run for Governor.
