IQ45's complaints about the AZ tabulator problems are a friggin joke

Firstly, it wasn't a problem with machines anyone voted on, only on tabulation machines, which are two very different devices.

Everyone's vote (done on paper) was still tallied, it just happened a little later, on different equipment or by hand, vs machines at the polling place that were meant to tally votes on the spot to save time. Nobody was disenfranchised.

Also, seems likely issue was caused by stringent security, as the problem is reported to be related to the darkness of the print on the ballots themselves (not the user's markings, the actual ballot. Trying to avoid the Chinese Bamboo ones I assume ).

And I've not seen evidence this problem was specific to 'republican areas'. Not saying I'm sure either way, but I've not seen evidence.

And as far as longer lines being caused ... if that even happened ... tough shit. POC's have been dealing with long lines, literally on purpose, for freaking EVER. This sitch otoh was almost certainly an accident. If people just left the lines cause of some slight delays, bummer I guess, but ... that's happened so many times in so many places it's ridiculous.

And everyone COULD have availed themselves of mail-in ballots, which AZ has had for decades ... if they didn't have the time to potentially wait in lines for awhile.

Lastly pretty sure the reason we even had the new machines in Maricopa in the first place (presumably these new ones are the ones that had the issue with rejecting ballots) is because of the Cyber Ninja's audit compromising the old machines, forcing us to buy the new ones.

IQ45 is desperately grasping at straws.

Would anyone in the AZ Valley like to come and get this kitten? I can catch him/her ...

Blue lets me so close I can touch his/her paws and tail briefly, and it just moves a tiny bit away.

And it's looking at me very longingly ... like, I want a HOME!

It's kinda killing me. This baby is so flippin cute and I can just tell s/he would make a great pet.

I'm sure I could grab Blue and hold on to him/her for a day or two until someone takes it. I can't keep it, my boy Jean Luc doesn't like other cats.

Blue came for snax just now with his/her sibling Brave (who is no longer nearly as brave as Blue) this AM. Then just proceeded to be totally adorbs while I touched his/her paws and took pics.

Blue (left), Brave (right)

More pics of Blue just now

When s/he started marking the tree branch when I was like 1 foot away ... It told me this is a friendly cat who likes people. Cats don't do this otherwise in my experience.

I swear I'd take this cat in a SECOND if I had room

Looking at the promo pictures used by Mark Kelly vs Blake Masters

My lady and her friends were just joking that they'd swipe right for Kelly because he looks like someone who'd help you do the dishes at the end of the night, and left for Masters, cause he looks like someone who might end up wearing a suit made of your skin.

Few new pics of one of my Wall Kitties, Blue, who came by for a snack this AM with Mama

I've taken to calling her/him Blue cause it has a cute blue-ish stripe on the bridge of it's teenie little nose.

It's actually turning out to be even braver than it's floofy sibling who was the braver of the two at first (I call that one Brave), now this one is the least skittish of the four, including Mom. Even let me pet it's tail briefly and didn't attack or sketch out and run.

The U2 frontman will appear on the CBS show on Thursday, November 3 and will be the show’s sole guest for the hour as he promotes his memoir and performs solo.

Hoping for a new song, and that it's awesome.

And that he pimps people voting for Dems on 11/8, at least a bit

My lady is on a business trip to SF ... Which is MY hometown, not hers. And she's torturing me

sending me a picture of the evening's menu.

OMG I so want to be there eating in the Embarcadero with her.

KILLING ME.
