That picture of him with Michelle Obama really humanized him for me in a way nothing else could have.
I in no way endorse what he did in the middle east nor the torture and the other abuses of his administration. But I do recoginise he is a human being. I haven't seen any humanity in Trump nor do I believe it exists in him.He is nothing.Empty.Null and void.

It's common for diplomats to "witness"

the political processes of other govt.s Sometimes they ask to attend or they can be invited.(Invitations are extended as a courtesy. )
It's important for diplomats to gain insight into how different countries operate,how they see themselves, and to get to know the movers and shakers in order to recommend strategies and advice to the leadership back home to help in forming their polices.

Watergate was the covering up

of the break-in of DNC headquarters-Nixon may have been able to distance himself from this. I don't remember if he knew it was going to happen-I don't think he did.
What he did do was to direct the cover-up that linked the break-in to the RNC and Commitee to Re-elect the President (known by that creepy acronym CREEP).
Trump and his band of merry-men conspired with a foreign gov't. to subvert democracy - in exchange for ? Lot of supposition about Trump and friends motives. He may have more than one motive and the others probably have their own individual reasons.

This is definitely far worse than Watergate.

Partly, thrill is getting away with it .

Trump believes he is smarter than most people and that he is a superior being.He is so smart and so superior, the rules don't apply to him.Every successful scam reinforces this belief. (He can get away with anything-he's that damn superior.
He is not the most sophicated con-artist-he doesn't try to hide his pathology-he's very blatant.His stance on Russia is blatant.The more sophisticated type would 've toned it down.I can't figure out if this is a product of intellect (lack thereof) or hubris.I expect a little of both.
His fellow travelers seem to have the same narcissistic and or socio-pathalogical tendencies.Birds of a feather.They seek each other out. He was mentored by Roy Cohn for god sakes & Roger Stone (Stone's twitter posts reflect one hell of an ego-me , me,me-look at me ! ).
The thing that kills me is the number of people involved. If you're gonna sell-out your country,you would think they would have been more selective.
It's gotta be stupidity and hubris.
(funny,Trump doesn't trust e-mail, but he does trust god knows how many psychopaths).

and when did we become violent ? Whats that all about ? Or do they equate protest with violence ? Anarchists aren't liberals.When's the last time a liberal went on a shooting rampage ? I hear them of accusing the left of violence alot lately-I don't get it.(BLM ? , most are peaceful and those who aren't are either acting out of years of frustration or they're there for the wrong reason).
