I decided to buy a drone for my daughter's birthday. These things are dangerous.

Well .. I am humbled. The damn thing went crazy. It knocked my wife's plant off on the patio before it took off and landed in my neighbor's yard a couple blocks away. .. Luckily no one was injured or no property damaged...I am currently in the doghouse for getting my daughter a dangerous toy.
This is a bug 3 drone which everyone on Amazon raved about how easy it is to control.

It was on the tip of my toungue to give them a piece of my mind.. But I guess people are entitled to private conversation in Public spaces...
We know the right wing talk radio would have reacted differently
Had Obama have to have deal with one or more of the following
1) Boasting of molesting young girls
2) Alleged Getting Russian help to win election
3) Any of the random shit that Trump does
The question that intrigues me while thinking about this 'counterfactual' scenario is what proportion of that difference in their reactions is driven by inherent subconscious bias (due to brain's wiring or their worldview) see the two differently... And what proportion of it is driven by conscious self interest .. ( Where they know Trump is a crook but are just being hypocritical).
Secondly - Are we as biased and if we had had our own Trump? - would our own 'delta' in our reactions between our Trump and their Trump be as pronounced?
And how do we even go about these questions honestly and objectively?

Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), a gubernatorial nominee who recently was accused of using racially tinged language, spoke four times at conferences organized by a conservative activist who has said that African Americans owe their freedom to white people and that the country’s “only serious race war” is against whites.
DeSantis, elected to represent north-central Florida in 2012, appeared at the David Horowitz Freedom Center conferences in Palm Beach, Fla., and Charleston, S.C., in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017, said Michael Finch, president of the organization. At the group’s annual Restoration Weekend conferences, hundreds of people gather to hear right-wing provocateurs such as Stephen K. Bannon, Milo Yiannopoulos and Sebastian Gorka sound off on multiculturalism, radical Islam, free speech on college campuses and other issues.
“I just want to say what an honor it’s been to be here to speak,” DeSantis said in a 27-minute speech at the 2015 event in Charleston, a video shows. “David has done such great work and I’ve been an admirer. I’ve been to these conferences in the past but I’ve been a big admirer of an organization that shoots straight, tells the American people the truth and is standing up for the right thing.”

The monkey around remark becomes extremely clear now.
I still can't understand what the big fuss about the op-ed is all about?
Here is the summary of the Op-ed.
"Trump is crazy. Bat shit crazy. And we are making sure to deal with it"
Why is that a big deal? .. when everyone.. and I mean EVERYONE .. already knows this. And I sure would hope that someone is nannying Trump.
And to me the op-ed might as well be written by Capt. Obvious. What am I missing?
