I know people who have enough wealth so that they won't get hurt by anything

the repukes do. But not so much that they become better off.

I asked one of them what they thought of the tax bill and he said at first he wasn't paying attention then he said that possibly it would help the middle class.

He just doesn't want to deal with the idea that his party is out to hurt people.

These types burry their heads in the sand. They put on blinders so they don't have to see the poverty around them. One told me the other day that homeless people have too much freedom.

I need to work with them but to do so you have to not discuss things like the fucking tax bill that passed last night.

I long for the days when I thought we would always move in a more progressive direction. I am 71 and there was such a time before Reagan. I don't know if we will ever get back there. My guess it will take a generation or two of suffering for change to happen.

Maybe if the Repub tax bill fails the Repus will be more willing to get trump out of office.

If the Repubs don't pass the tax bill what reason would they have to keep Trump's pen in the White House? They could just as easy get by with Pence.

In 2018 they have to go on the campaign trail as do Dems. They won't have the time or desire to be pushed around by trump.

I am willing to think some Repubs just may sabotage the tax bill to spite trump.

Did we get are big Thanksgiving day media person scandal?

We were told that somebody big in media was going to have their dirty deeds exposed on Thanksgiving.

I didn't see or hear anything about it.

Question for computer experts

Can your computer be hacked into if it is turned off?

The net neutrality issue is similar to other historical events. In the late 1800's near

San Francisco the Central Pacific railroad had a monopoly on freight and passenger transportation. They pushed the wagon freight companies out of business near the bay and those businesses had to move to more remote areas or go out of business.

Once the Central Pacific had a monopoly they began to raise shipping rates. If you were a farmer you paid the higher rates or didn't sell your crop.

To avoid shipping on Central Pacific's trains communities built their own narrow gauge railroads. The narrow gauge railroads disappeared when paved roads and internal combustion engines became more efficient.

I think if net neutrality goes away communities may by pass providers like Comcast with smaller local providers like we use to have.

That is my hope. I am afraid that many people will roll over and pay the higher rates because they can't live without social media.

We will see.

I confess I got naked in front of a woman 17 yrs younger than me

Her parents were a few yards away.

It was at the pool. She came over and sat next to me.

She invited me to her parents pot look.

We danced that night.

We've been together 33 years and married 31.

No I don't see myself as a perv. We were at a nudist club and they were nude to.

Stories need context.

I want a mea culpa. Come on Donna and yesterday's Hillary bashers. It's about time we thank

Hillary for all she has done for us in spite of all the shit that has been thrown at her during her life.

She deserves a thank you from all of us.

And no I am not going move on or forget about it.

Anyway, Brazile won't be able to get rich off of that book.

Nadezhda Tolokonnikova of Pussy Riot was on Lawrence O'Donnell's show tonight.

She said that the 1960's in the U.S. was her inspiration especially 1968 which she said was here favorite year. Her birthday is coming up and Lawrence gave her a copy of his new book which is about the 1960's.

So he got a plug in but she is very inspirational.
