Aside from the matter that Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden are not allowing immigrants from the USA I would already be planning my permanent move, even when it looks like Joe Biden has won.

And as for my home state, Louisiana: you FUCKING BUMS. Three hurricanes, losing coastine at the rate of a football field every hour, sea levels rising to drown out our southern cities.... beggars screaming for Federal help every time a disaster strikes, which is quite often and at the same time lambasting "big government" and "socialism".... FUCK YOU, my fellow Louisianians. You embarrass me to no end.

You go into a booth, punch buttons on a Votetronic touch screen, and then we're supposed to accept ON FAITH that our vote is going to be tabulated correctly to our chosen candidate. No receipt, no way to check online later.

So, I drove by the early voting place here in Baton Rouge... the line was looooooooong in this mostly white, Republican neighborhood. But what I saw encouraged me: from what I saw at least a third of those in line were young people. And many African Americans, too.

I contrast that with what I usually see on election day here: youthful indifference. Where are the young people???? Well, this time they're showing up!

Now, I have no hope that Biden will win this beggar state (I love Louisiana, don't get me wrong, but truth is truth)... but if around the country there's this much enthusiasm and concern for their futures... as I'm now convinced there is.... Biden wins in a landslide.
