Did you see this sh#4!! Re; Silvio De Sousa suspention...KU

https://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/sam-mellinger/article226031420.html

Heres what it seems to boil down to..The kid has no idea this is going on...

Silvio De Sousa is suspended two years for a rules violation that investigators agree he did not know about or benefit from. That is patently unfair and at different points in NCAA history would not have been punished.

Accusations by people that follow ncaa investigations have this attitude

The bigger story here, though, is that many in and around college sports believe this is merely the first step in a bigger play against the Kansas men’s basketball program and Hall of Fame coach Bill Self.

I guess I''m stunned...

“The NCAA wants to prove something and that’s the way it’s been for a while,” said a Division I coach. “Right or wrong, there’s been smoke (around KU basketball) but they haven’t been able to get anything to stick. The FBI and the (Adidas) trial ... this is their best chance. That’s what I see.”

Wagle vs. Sebelius 2020? Wagle worries ex-governor 'will be recruited' for Senate run

Source: Wichita Eagle

As a half dozen potential candidates weigh bids to replace retiring U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts in 2020, one possible Republican contender is publicly voicing fears that former Democratic Gov. Kathleen Sebelius will run.

Sebelius has previously said she doesn’t have plans to run for office again. But Kansas Senate President Susan Wagle isn’t convinced.

“I’m worried that Sebelius will be recruited,” said Wagle, a Wichita Republican exploring a bid. “And I think I could hold that seat.”

Wagle faced Sebelius in 2006, when Wagle was the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor and Sebelius was seeking a second term as governor. Wagle and Republican nominee Jim Barnett lost to Sebelius by 17 percentage points.

A lot would have to happen before a head-to-head race between two of the most powerful women in the history of Kansas politics. Sebelius would have to throw her hat in the ring. Wagle would have to win what is expected to be a wide-open Republican primary.

Wagle has used her position to help out her family...Always denial of wrong doing...Always
at the helm of rightwinger politics...

Have always like Sebelius...thought she got a bumb wrap on the computer problems implementing obama care...

I wouldn't mind seeing here on the 2020 ticket....somewhere...In kansaas, it would be great to have her
in washington as senator..

I can see this....

An elderly couple had just learned how to send text messages on their new
mobile phones.

The wife was a romantic type and a retired English classical literature teacher.

The husband was a retired Navy Chief and more of a no-nonsense guy.

One afternoon the wife went out to meet a friend for coffee. She decided to
send her husband a romantic text message and she wrote:

"If you are sleeping, send me your dreams. If you are laughing, send me your
smile. If you are eating, send me a bite. If you are drinking, send me a
sip. If you are crying, send me your tears. I love you."

The husband texted back to her: "On the toilet. Please advise."

Are the democrats satisfied with their base..

Or are they going to try and capture some of stumpys?

https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/29/politics/donald-trump-nancy-pelosi-2020-power/index.html

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris focused directly on Trump's character on the second day of her campaign, during a CNN town hall event in Iowa on Monday.
"It's very important that anyone who presents themselves as a leader and wants to be a leader will speak like a leader," Harris said, not mentioning the President by name but leaving no doubt about her target.

"That means speaking with integrity. It means speaking truth. It means speaking in a way that expresses and indicates some level of interest and concern to people other than oneself. And so, right there we will see a great contrast."

Will it take less emphasis on honesty and integrity, which cheetozs followers ignore anyway?
Would democrat runners be willing to tell the 30%ers what they want to hear?

Scum kohack still a drain on kansaas taxpayers..

Little turd. After all the b.s. he put voters through..He should be taking classes through a prison rehabilitation program.

https://www.cjonline.com/news/20190122/kris-kobach-used-state-funds-to-pay-for-court-ordered-class

Former Secretary of State Kris Kobach used state funds to pay for continuing law education ordered by a federal court judge for his performance in a voter rights trial last year.

Kobach notified the court last week he had completed a six-hour course on civil trial basics through the National Business Institute.

Katie Koupal, spokeswoman for the secretary of state’s office, confirmed Kobach made the $359 payment for the audio version of the class through the office.

Previously, Kobach paid a $1,000 fine for misleading the federal court with a state-issued card left behind by an employee who was deployed to Ukraine with the Oklahoma Army National Guard.

Both instances stem from litigation over a state law that required new voters to show a birth certificate or other proof of citizenship when registering to vote. The American Civil Liberties Union challenged the law, which was argued at trial last year, and Judge Julie Robinson ruled the requirement unconstitutional.

Robinson also said Kobach’s late efforts to introduce new evidence showed a pattern of “flaunting disclosure and discovery rules that are designed to prevent prejudice and surprise at trial.” She ordered coursework as a sanction.

The secretary of state’s office also is responsible, pending appeal, for paying $26,000 in ACLU legal fees after Kobach was found in contempt of court for failing to comply with Robinson’s orders.

Analizing the game....for $$$

Not much of a gambler myself....With all the online gambling activity, it seems to have really progressed, as
far as what is available to make predictions...

------------------------

On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs will attempt to accomplish a feat they've never pulled off in their long and illustrious history: Defeat the Indianapolis Colts in the postseason. They will get their chance at 4:35 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium in the first game of the NFL divisional round schedule. The Chiefs are 0-4 versus Indy in the playoffs, with their last meeting in 2014 culminating in a stunning 45-44 loss as the Colts rallied from 28 points down in the second half. But the Chiefs have a new attitude, and the AFC's top seed. Kansas City is a 5.5-point home favorite, while the over-under is at 56 in the latest Chiefs vs. Colts odds. Before you make any Chiefs vs. Colts picks and NFL playoff predictions, check out what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The advanced computer model simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, and those who have followed it have seen massive returns. SportsLine's proprietary computer model went 176-80 last season and beat over 95 percent of CBS Office Pool players in 2016 and '17. It also performed better than 98 percent of experts tracked by NFLPickWatch.com during that span. Additionally, it went 48-34 on A-rated picks against the spread last season, and $100 bettors who followed it the past two seasons are up nearly $4,000.

Maine governor deems congressional election 'stolen' while certifying result

Source: CNN

November's congressional election in Maine marked the first time in US history the ranked-choice voting system determined the outcome of a congressional race. The new state law mandates ranked-choice tabulation be applied in any federal race in which no candidate receives a majority of the vote.
Democratic Rep-elect Jared Golden was projected by CNN as the winner of the election in Maine's second district with 50.6% of the vote, and his opponent, Rep. Bruce Poliquin, received 49.4% of the vote.

"Not only are the Governor's comments wrong, this is yet another attempt by the Maine GOP to undermine the will of Mainers, who twice voted to approve RCV," Golden said in a statement released Friday. "Maine people are tired of this kind of poor leadership -- which is why they voted for sweeping change in November."
