About TheKangaroo

I'm a regular old white guy, strong Democrat since 1968. I was in DU years ago under a non de guerre but just returned. At the time I was here before, my position was Ronald Reagan was the worst President the U.S. has ever had, but George W. Bush was second. I think the Orange Menace now in the White House may surpass both of them put together. I don't count W.H. Harrison, Z. Taylor, or Garfield because their tenure was too short. Benjamin Harrison and James Buchanan round out my bottom five. My top five are Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and James K. Polk. My present Dem heroes are Nancy Pelosi, Keith Ellison, Tammy Baldwin, Adam Schiff, Elizabeth Warren, Elijah Cummings, and of course John Lewis. I'm a Daily Kos guy and follow Kos's maxim we need "more and better Democrats" in office.
