About Me

I'm a lawyer primarily representing clients who are being sued. I am a retired Army Judge Advocate. Nothing I post here, including any comments about legal topics, should be construed as legal advice or creating an attorney-client relationship.

Arkansas Pro-Gun rally.

The local NBC affiliate did a very short bit on a pro-gun rally at the State Capital in Little Rock. The reporter read that "hundreds" turned out. From the video, I'd say maybe two or three hundred.

There were 3,500 to 4,000 at the Little Rock March for Our Lives. My report from that afternoon.

Remember, this is Arkansas I'm talking about. The gun nuts do not out number us.

The Day After Tomorrow?

Freezing temperatures are predicted in south Arkansas tonight - south Arkansas! On April 7!

I just brought in plants and started a fire in the fireplace. Tell me again how there is nothing to this climate change stuff.

Trump not a "target." Question for federal criminal attorneys.

I have a question, or maybe a theory, about the report that Mueller has told Trump's lawyers that he is not presently a "target."

Might that only mean that Mueller does not intend (at least for now) to seek an indictment? For instance, if Mueller has concluded a sitting President cannot (or ought not) be indicted but intends to report criminal activity in his report to Congress, would that explain this report?

Extension on edit: The guests on Chris Hayes were just advancing my theory, so maybe I'm not too far out there.
