TomSlick's JournalAttack on the Arkansas Judicial Election.
For Arkansas DUers, the Judicial Crises Network - a right-wing conspiracy theory organization - is spending big money in Arkansas to buy a seat on the State Supreme Court. JCN has been running ads and sending mailers falsely attacking Justice Goodson. It has now turned its attention to Court of Appeals Judge Hixon who is also running. JCN is now clearly supporting David Sterling - the only candidate it has not attacked. (Who is clearly supported by the Arkansas GOP establishment.)
There is no evidence Mr. Sterling is "coordinating" with JCN but neither is he objecting to the infusion of dark money to his benefit.
I'll keep my own counsel about who I support but it is time for Arkansas voters to reject this blatant attempt to buy a Supreme Court seat.
150 square yards of sod just delivered.
I'll start laying sod at sunrise trying to beat the predicted heat as best I can. If I'm off the net for a couple of days, that means I'm down with my back.
If I'm laying sod on a Saturday, how early can I start drinking beer?
