Watching the live testimony, Garland seems to be frail and senile

When he was being interrogated by Gaetz (I think it was him) about the whether or not the indigenous people "violently" protesting at the capital should be considered the same crime as Jan 6th and should be considered "domestic terrorists" and would he prosecute these liberal protesters the same way. Garland stammered and said he didn't know the facts of the case and wouldn't comment on it. He reiterated that they would face the same justice if guilty of domestic terrorism.

Hell NO! That was truly the WRONG response. He should have stood up and said that INTENT is the key to whether they should be charged as terrorists. By definition, terrorism is an act of using violence to affect political coercion. Not the same thing as a demonstration against a policy.

He should have said the word INSURRECTION and shut that asshole up.

Top Trump aides set to defy subpoenas in Capitol... - yesterdays news, todays reality

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Spazito because it wasn't considered real "news" well guess what!
On Spazito's advice I am reposting this in the General Discussion section - my thanks to all who initially responded to this but the original thread is now lost to obscurity because someone decided this wasn't real news.

Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and other top aides subpoenaed by the House select committee investigating the Capitol attack are expected to defy orders for documents and testimony related to 6 January, according to a source familiar with the matter.

All four Trump aides targeted by the select committee – Meadows, deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, strategist Steve Bannon and defense department aide Kash Patel – are expected to resist the orders because Trump is preparing to direct them to do so, the source said.

I think all of these people should be held in contempt and spend some time thinking about this in jail.

Never a good word about real legal action.

It's been months now since we got a new AG. Lots of investigations, lots of damning facts uncovered by the media, and Cy Vance has had the goods on Trump and all of his kids for months, and they are just sitting on it. I keep hoping to see *anything* that looks like a high level indictment against these thugs that held/hold office and *nothing*. It needs to happen NOW! IMHO

You can see now why the MAGA house members didn't want any of this to be public

Nothing makes this more real than emotional testimony from officers that were there. There unrehearsed testimony is so moving and believable it will negate the Faux spin machine and all of the Tr--p sycophants that are trying to revise history to minimize what THEY did.

Melinda Gates began divorce moves at time Bill's meetings with Jeffrey Epstein revealed

Source: The Guardian

But it said few “compared in prestige and power to the [then] world’s second-richest person, a brilliant and intensely private luminary: Bill Gates. And unlike many others, Mr Gates started the relationship after Mr Epstein was convicted of sex crimes.”

In 2008, Epstein reached a deal with authorities and was sentenced to 13 months confinement for soliciting prostitution from underage girls. The conditions of the deal were a source of controversy 11 years later, when Epstein was charged with sex trafficking. Found dead in a New York jail, he was deemed to have killed himself.

Earlier this week, the Daily Beast reported that Melinda Gates warned her husband about associating with Epstein in 2013. The Wall Street Journal cited a former employee of the Gates Foundation who said relationships between the two men and other Gates employees continued after that warning.

Newt G. on Faux news saying the repukes were not allowed to veiw the count in PA

Echoing the same BS tRump was spewing during his TV game show spot - Who wants to be a president!?

Gross. MAGAts celebrating after the medical team says Trump is doing well and

playing "Eye of the Tiger" at his recovery rally. As I said in an earlier post, this is going to be used as total spin for that narcissistic sociopath.
