Pollsters: Trump and GOP are losing young, female voters permanently

Pollsters Anna Greenberg and Dan Cox said on Monday that President Trump and Republicans are losing young women to Democrats permanently.

"When you ask millennial women who are likely voters, about 65, 68 percent would actually vote for a Democrat in the generic congressional race, so that puts them as base Democratic voters," Greenberg, a partner at Greenberg, Quinlan, Rosner, told Hill.TV's Krystal Ball on "What America's Thinking."

"What we know is that in your coming of age years, from sort of your teens into your early 20s, have a profound, long-term impact on what your partisanship and voting patterns are for the rest of your life," she continued.

"So, not only in this moment are these millennial women heavily, heavily Democratic and heavily hostile to Trump, but it's likely that they are going to sort of be the vanguard of, I think, the feminization of the Democratic Party," she said.

Omarosa to release secret recording on MSNBC at 1 p.m. ET

Take it for what it's worth, but she's certainly taking back the news cycle from Trump again.

I know primary turnout isn't always indicative of general election turnout, but...

I think it's notable that roughly 80,000 more people voted in the Wisconsin Democratic Primary than Republican in the Governors Race...and District 1 (Paul Ryan's old seat), more Democrats also voted than Republicans.

Bodes very well for November!

DNA evidence credited for arrest in April Tinsley's 1988 killing

Source: Indianapolis Star

Thirty years after the murder of 8-year-old April Tinsley, police arrested a man in connection to her death on the same day the cold case was to be examined during a prime-time crime documentary.

John Miller, 59, of Grabill, was arrested at his home Sunday morning by members of the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Indiana State Police, according to court documents.

Hours later, Investigation Discovery's "On the Case with Paula Zahn" was set to air an episode about the search for the man who taunted law enforcement for years after the crime.

Court documents said when police arrived, they asked Miller if he knew why they were there. He answered "April Tinsley" before admitting the crime to investigators, according to court documents.

Any predictions for the Dow today?

Fell -327 yesterday. Some people think it'll rebound, some think it'll continue falling. Down 9 of the last 10 days.

My guess is it rebounds a little, but not a whole lot. We'll see.

Virginia school formerly named for Confederate general changes name to Barack Obama

"A Richmond, Virginia, elementary school will switch its name from that of a Confederate general to that of the nation's first black President.

On Monday, the Richmond school board voted to rename J.E.B. Stuart Elementary as Barack Obama Elementary School, reported CNN affiliate WTVR.

Members of the school's community submitted ideas for a new name and students at the Richmond school, which is 95% African-American according to WTVR, voted among seven choices. The top three finalists were: Barack Obama, Northside and Wishtree, the station reported."

With airwaves constantly filled with negative news, this is really cool.

Trump defends Kim Jong Un executing people: Video

BAIER: Kim Jong Un is "clearly executing people."

TRUMP: "He's a tough guy. Hey, when you take over a country, tough country, tough people, and you take it over from your father ... if you could do that at 27-years old, I mean, that's 1 in 10,000 that could do that." (via FOX)

Absolutely unreal.

Indiana Republican voters in a nutshell

"The voters I talked to here were hesitant to discuss the Senate race.

One man said he voted for Rokita, but he wasn’t a fan of the three candidates’ campaigns.

“I think they’re all pretty much idiots. They all made us feel like we didn’t have any brains.”

Basically says that he doesn't like any of the candidates, so he voted for the most Trump-like one.

Indiana Boy Scout leader in response to those upset about Scouts name change: "Get over it."

In the wake of the news that the word "Boy" will be dropped from the Boy Scouts name, adults with ties to the scouting world have offered their takes on the change.

Some praise it as the next big step for the Boy Scouts of America they grow with the times and accept girls as scouts. Others criticize it as the beginning for the end for an organization they have long held dear.

To the latter, a Hamilton and Tipton County leader within the scouting community offers a simple rebuttal.

"Get over it," said Kevin Aldrich, a member-at-large of the Del-Mi District, part of the Crossroads of America Council for the Boy Scouts of America. "The scout program is the finest youth program in the world and there's no reason to not be co-ed. There is every reason to be co-ed. The Future Farmers of America is co-ed. 4-H is co-ed. Band in school is co-ed. There's no valid reason not to be co-ed."

Great quote from him!!
