I spent most of my life in Chicago in the Englewood neighborhood. I spent my childhood right where the article mentions. Now its probably the worst gang infested, high crime area in the city. Why is the Fed Gov. spending $20 million for a nature trail here? Surely the needs of this community are better served elsewhere. This is foolishness and its throwing money away instead of using ing for good. Dang!

Just saw that
Quarterback who was fined and suspended speaking on tv. He denies any sexual wrongdoing, but is accepting his severe punishment. I'm confused. If he's willing to be punished for something he feels was not wrong, why? Not a big fan, but think that's suspiciously similar to TFG paying $25 million to a hooker for something he didn't do either.

I tried. Listened to Countdown with Keith Olberman. Couldn't last the whole podcast. Screaming and yelling and bashing is way too much for me. Blood pressure can't take it. His righteous anger isn't fun anymore. Things are too serious.
Tried to watch
Katie Tur and Nicole Wallace after the hearing today. Wow the ladies competitive juices were really evident. They tried to out talk each other and over talk each other constantly. Couldn't understand much of what they tried to say, so turned back to CNN. They are not a good team.

I've seen say RBG wanted abortion left up to states and gave a speech on this. I looked it up and found, once again, the anti choice folks are cherry picking this.

That was the idea I tried to express in the lecture to which you referred.”
Ginsburg said that she believed it would have been easier for the public to understand why the Constitution protected abortion rights if the matter had been framed as one of equal protection rather than privacy. And in fact, there was a specific case she had in mind as one that should have driven the national conversation, instead of letting Roe carry that weight.

I'm very divided by this announcement today. Of course, we all want kidnapped and missing children found asap. But the use of my personal social media account by the government without my permission is very troubling. A fascist regime would do much harm with this power. Is no one questioning g this?
