What we are discussing here
is an attack by the US on a sovereign nation. Accordingly the UN would consider this an act of war by the US. At this point China has to at least attack South Korea. At that point, China would let the US know that it is willing to stop it there. The US would be stupid to do anything further. Yes, the US would win any war, but how many cities are we willing to lose?
