That is the way I paid for college. Okay, I have to admit, my grades did not get me into college. Massachusetts at that time guaranteed veterans that they would be accepted to any state college or university as long as they had a high school diploma.
Probably will never know why.
Even when the attempt fails, you may never know why you tried. Dec 27, 2014, I was very nervous but don't know why. Dec 31, 2014 woke up in the hospital. My wife and a man I learned was my psychologist were in the room with me. He told me he had been talking to me every day since I entered the hospital. He said I was pleasant, but did not know I had attempted suicide. I still do not have any idea why I tried to kill myself. I was transferred to the VA hospital psych ward. It took them a month to straighten out my meds. How can I know why someone commits suicide when I don't even know why I had tried.
Could someone tell me if I am right or wrong.
Every person on American soil is protected, supposedly, by the Constitution. Before a person can be deported, not people caught at the border, he or she is entitled to a hearing before an immigration judge. If the judge rules for deportation, the person has the right to an appeal. If this is the case, and there are less than 800 immigration judges that means every judge has to hear 1,000 cases. This is after the 500,000 cases that have already backlogged the system.
At least my daughter won't worry,

I know this is going to sound stupid, but after 50 years all of my files are still flagged. The Navy and Marines were Naval Security Group. The men, part of NSG, onboard the USS Pueblo were captured by North Korea and later more members of NSG of were onboard the USS Liberty on June 8, 1967 when they were attacked by Israel. You can Google Army Security Agency and get a lot of information about them and the agency we worked for.
Things were different when I served.
05,31,1963-05,29,1967. When I started to have mental health issues in 1966, I lost my clearance, but all they did to me is transfer me to an interrogation unit at Fort Meade. I did not have a job, but had to be at the psych's, the gym or the library during the day. I received an honorable discharge. I started to use the VA health system in 1995. I did meet a woman a few weeks ago at the Wilmington NC clinic. She was trying to get veterans with other than honorable discharges VA health. Most of the veterans she works with have had multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. When did this change take place? It is so wrong.
Why is this man still talking?
Why is there a news article about him and why did I bother to read the article and then waste more time posting about it?
