ACA Premiums
Apologies if I missed this, but are other folks seeing a significant increase in ACA premiums? Our son's premiums (in Virginia) are increasing from $107 a month last year to $310 a month this year, with a $7000 deductible.

Interesting poll results regarding an assault weapon ban
I would have expected older voters to oppose such a ban, but the exact opposite appears to be true.
Resistance to a ban on military-style assault weapons is strongest among millennials, according to a new Quinnipiac poll released this week. It’s a finding that experts said might be driven by the popularity of first-person shooter video games such as Call of Duty and the increasing prominence of military-style guns in the consumer market.

Unlikely hero article regarding yesterdays church shooting
The man in black hauled off in his SUV. The second man with the rifle — a neighbor unidentified as of Sunday night — came to Langendorff. The two men were strangers. “He briefed me quickly on what had just happened and said he had to get him,” Langendorff said later. “So that’s what I did.”
