About Me

I am a Brit. I am a working class child of the troubles in Belfast who now lives a life of privilege. I am an anti-racist, progressive monster for truth. If I fail in being that monster, call me out....

KENTUCKY: City Official Worried That Day Of The Dead Celebration Will Summon Corpses From Their...

Judge-Executive Brad Schneider says there has been a big increase in the Latino population in recent years. City Commissioner Patti Bugg says there are other ways to educate the community.“I’d say 99 percent of the day of the dead is probably innocent. I think that’s fine,” says Commissioner Bugg.

“I think if you want to honor your loved ones. I think the only challenge is if they actually try to summons somebody else, you know, a loved one from the grave, then I think they’re asking for some serious stuff. As a Christian, I don’t think they can do that.”

Tick all that apply:

Far right evangelical bollocks
All of the above

Genius as in ignorant, incapable, inept, stupid, weak, incompetent, idiotic imbecile...

Oh and Genius?!?!!? Hehehehehehehehehe fucking idiot.

What's behind these attempts to normalize those who carried out America's concentration camps?

Oh, they are all singing a different tune now that they are out of power. Once they were forced out, they have been shunned by Trump’s people, while everyone else sees them as pariahs. Now that the walls are crumbling down around Trump, they are eager to speak out against him. Thanks, very brave of you.

The New York Times extolled John Kelly for opposing Trump policies--after he left his post. Kelly is on a bit of a rehabilitation tour. At Duke University, he said Trump’s family-separation policy “came as a surprise”. He was shocked. He was horrified. Except for the fact that before it happened, he did this:

As for the child-caging? Kelly did way worse than just justify it, which he did by saying that the children “will be put in foster care, or whatever.” He actually praised the detention centers, and now, he now profits from them...
Some of these people may have turned on Trump more than others, but not one of them has ever admitted any wrong-doing. They still defend their actions. They entitled to nothing but our contempt.

They should be shunned by everyone. Everyone of them discussed at the link should be sent to Coventry for a very long time. No media. No rehabilitation. No trying to reframe the narrative.

Retired four-star general blasts White House over NYTimes, WaPost cancelations

Retired four-star U.S. Army Gen. Barry McCaffrey on Friday slammed the White House for directing federal agencies to end their subscriptions to The New York Times and The Washington Post after President Trump said he didn’t want either outlet in the White House.

“The White House Trump statement telling the entire Federal Government to terminate subscriptions to the NYT and Wash Post is a watershed moment in national history,” McCaffrey tweeted. “No room for HUMOROUS media coverage. This is deadly serious. This is Mussolini.”

Mussolini...Goebbels... Comme ci, comme ça
Fascist play 101

The end goal...

Not every item of news should be published. Rather must those who control news policies endeavor to make every item of news serve a certain purpose. Goebbels.

Trump administration hellbent on purging the Obama-appointed security specialists tasked with...

...defending White House computers

This is an important event that risks getting lost in the noise: White House cybersecurity Chief Dimitrios Vistakis resigned this week over practices he called “absurd,” including the systemic purging of cybersecurity staff.

Of course they want to get rid of the witnesses... heh .....Why would the GOP/Trump even need cyber-security when foreign election intervention is their ace in the hole? And Putin...
These fuckers are brazen, I will give them that.

Folks, let's stop for a minute and reflect on what Kamala Harris did in the last 24 hours.

Donald Trump started this week with ugly comments about lynching and ended the week getting an award from an OUTSIDE group on an HBCU campus. That had to be challenged.

So Kamala Harris pulled her support for the forum. She was prepared to hold a counter-program with her own people.

That was a huge gamble, because it only works if you have the ability to rally your own supporters on short notice. Team Kamala HAD that ability, and therefore was taken seriously.

It's also important to note that Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin, one of the co-sponsors of the event, had a choice to make -- he could side with the Trump friendly sponsors, or side with Kamala. He sided with Kamala.

Now, that doesn't automatically mean an endorsement (and Benjamin will be a big endorsement when it comes) but it never hurts to work together toward a common good.

So tactically and strategically, this was a big win for Team Kamala.

Yep. She has had a very good 24 hours.

The Reckoning Cannot Come Soon Enough

Trump’s crimes are plain to see. At this point how much more legal proof do the Dems need that there was a carefully planned quid pro quo? For the purposes of the impeachment enquiry everything else is smoke and mirrors. With democracy under such sustained attack from the forces that surround that fuckwit in the White House, democrats need to move quickly to public hearings to clearly establish..

That the Ukraine activities are impeachable offenses. Period. They did what they did with the clear intent to strike at the heart of American democracy, and, when the founding fathers were sitting around having a chat and defining “high crimes and misdemeanours” this is exactly the shit they were thinking about…

That even if the quid pro quo element can not be established beyond a reasonable doubt (which it will, cause it is a real thing) it does not matter one jot to the establishment of impeachable offences, as this does not mean there has not been flagrant in your face we do not give a shit about the constitution obstruction of justice…

There needs to be a public, irrefutable tearing down of each of the defences they are trying to build to protect their democracy destroying castle of shit.

The sooner the better.

No forgiveness possible. No quarter given.

When all of this we are living through is over, we must not forgive. There can be no compassion for those who would destroy our democracies and steal our freedoms. No redemption, no atonement. Give them an inch and they will take that as explicit permission to try the same exact bollocks, again and again...

'Stop making my job so bloody easy'

The cult be like... Trump is all these things. Everyone else be like... you literally could not make it up. Satire and Idiots, what a combination.
