About Me

I am a Brit. I am a working class child of the troubles in Belfast who now lives a life of privilege. I am an anti-racist, progressive monster for truth. If I fail in being that monster, call me out....

History will repeat itself... cause right wing arseholes never learn...

Since time immemorial, the foundation of the right-wing has been hate, lies, racism and insanity. They always end up going too far. They are over playing their hand. The cannot help themselves, they never learn.

Though we walk through the valley of the nazi, we shall fear no coup because these are the same buffoons who butt dial reporters. And although they are trying very very hard, bless their little racist hearts, to bring about a fascist state they will not succeed, because their incompetence is a very effective barrier to their nasty.

Anyone with a half a brain could see this from day bloody one...

...Everyone else needs to catch up damn quick.

If those that use the egoistic narcissistic ethic free simpleton that is Trump continues to get their way democracy will be lost. This is their end goal. Trump needs to be taken down to show the fuckers behind the puppet show that they do not get to change the world order cause billions and bollocks... and then for all those who still do not get it, the MAGATs and the ones that just don't care who governs them, who refuse to engage with the system...

At this point this could literally be a real thing...

This is a Trump fact and you could literally imagine his sycophantic nodding heads doing exactly this..

Republican truth...

...It's the Brexit not at all Merry Go Round

Johnson is waiting for Corbyn to back an election. Corbyn is waiting for the EU to offer an extension. The EU are waiting to see whether Johnson calls an election. Johnson is waiting ...It’s the Brexit not at all Merry Go Round

The Brexit circular firing squad..

You know why we are so far down the rabbit hole at this point...

...the most radical viewpoint of executive authority of anyone who has ever held that position...

He wants an authoritarian totalitarian America. He always has, the fucking christo - fascist...

“That was when they suspended the Constitution. They said it would be temporary. There wasn't even any rioting in the streets. People stayed home at night, watching television, looking for some direction. There wasn't even an enemy you could put your finger on.” Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale

'This is stunning': Maddow shocked by AG Bill Barr's criminal investigation into 'conspiracy theory'

“I will say if you just step back from this for a second, the reason I think this is such a big deal is because we have seen the president and his supporters absolutely go after — you know, guns blazing — every senior law enforcement and intelligence official who they have been able to identify as having played any kind of key role in opening up the Russia investigation, right? But now that this has turned into a criminal investigation of the origins of the Russia investigation, that means they are considering bringing criminal charges against people who had the temerity to investigate Russia’s attack on our election and the question of whether or not the Trump campaign was involved in it,” she explained.

“This is the Justice Department investigating itself, potentially bringing criminal charges against its own officials. That itself would be — that would get you a page in the history books under any circumstances. Under these particular circumstances, it’s — this is stunning,” Maddow said.

It is ridiculous... ridiculous... on the bright side if they bring criminal proceedings, the defence will be able to request disclosure of every single pieces of paper that ties this bunch of nasty wankers to Russia and use it in the defence of anyone charged with a crime... the FULL Mueller report, all the investigative notes behind it, all the interviews they undertook... oh look...

Pass us the smoking gun you right wing arseholes

They have set the bar so very low, they have jumped the shark. Time to trip them up.

The Trump Toadies that now make up the Republican Party have so closely aligned their futures to the continuation of Trumpism, that they disgrace themselves, with actions like the storming of the congressional hearings yesterday, because they know if the corrupt and complicit house of cards around Trump falls, they are all screwed. The likelihood of any right winger suddenly developing an ethical and moral compass to the extent that they hang Trump out to dry is for the birds. The bar that they have set themselves, is so low at this point, that even if they think they are one step removed from the ridiculous behaviour of the worst of them, they will still put up with democracy stealers because the alternative is to lose to the Democrats and that is unthinkable to the point that they will literally sacrifice democracy and enable fascist rule. Duplicitous wankers.

Fuckers jumped the shark and we need to trip them over!

Pence. Trump. Bus.

You sup with the Devil you end up getting burnt.. could not happen to a nicer chap!

And Congress is the Iceberg...

They are literally running full steam ahead into the iceberg as the crimes mount. They have gone too far and done too much to change direction. Sinking.. sinking... sinking... Heh

The story of primary elections in America part one: An unfortunate evolution

Despite dominating modern American politics, the primary election as we know it is a rather recent development. Only fully realized in the 1980 Reagan electoral cycle, the progression of candidate selection in the United States has broadly taken three forms, according to Bruce J. Schulman, the William E. Huntington Professor of History at Boston University: nomination by the statehouse or congressional caucus, nomination by a convention of party bosses, and open caucus and primary elections
The evolution of candidate selection in America is fundamentally about tension between grassroots activists and party elites, between a more participatory democracy or closed-door politicking. But did these progressive elements and the seismic electoral changes they brought do more harm than good?

Worth reading the whole article. Drawing really interesting comparisons between the more closed systems in the UK and Australia - also a tale of how progressive movements can effect change in the political process.
