I think I might have a new job!
Great zoom interview today with a company who actually needs my niche skills. Pitched my salary at about 20K lower than my last job, told them, I would expect in contract, within a year they would be increasing my salary as I kicked arse on profitably. We will see, but I need to get back to work, and I am really positive about this. I think they really appreciated my skills set, and that I was willing to forgo my usual remuneration until I proved my worth. Huzzah! Fingers crossed people, I get out of my flat, and get to use my brain again. This might be the start of something really positive.

As Trump rocks up to the Oval Office he is officially the leader of a death cult
Trump goes to the Oval office this afternoon while still infected with Covid to show he is a strongman. He should be in isolation of course, but as he cares not one jot for anyone but himself, he is happy to put everyone around him at risk of death in a desperate attempt to try and win an election, in which all but his puerile base recognise what a complete incompetent, racist, nasty fucker of bile he is. I have called them a death cult for a while. This proves it. Also, he is not anywhere near the timeline when Covid-19 properly kicks your arse, when you are a fat old man. I trust in time he will feel what others around him and Americans infected with this virus suffer, when this moves up a gear on him.

Money's power to corrupt and to let the rich escape from the consequences of their actions, seems as relevant today as in 1925. And as we learn today it was likely that Trump and his missus were infectious at the debate and still the whole First Family of Grift refused to wear masks in a petulant sign of their own supposed superiority, it is obvious that they care not one jot for any American, and of course they refuse to acknowledge this mess of their own making, never mind clean up after themselves. Trump 2020 so very very Gatsby 1925.
And the moral of the story - their vast carelessness and greed will be their downfall.

Trump is going to be in isolation doing all cap tweets and having inappropriate photo ops for the next 2 weeks, at least. We know how the virus behaves and it is going to be a few more days before it will be obvious if Covid decides to really kick his arse. They are trying to suck all the oxygen out of the election campaign by demanding we obsessively focus on one old obese man’s virus ills, which he bought on himself. So, while the right wing is demanding we show empathy for the wanker, and Biden suspend his campaign, we must not allow them to distort the narratives of this election… after all the choice is between Biden and…
A super spreading, Covid denying, disinformation machine deep state conspiracy theorist who is responsible for 210K and counting, dead. A man who is trying to take healthcare away from millions (in the middle of a pandemic), and make Covid a pre-existing condition (irony alert) while pledging to gut social security if he gets re-elected. He has turned the department of justice into his own guard dogs against the norms of the state and together they are trying to break the constitution and trying to steal the election, including encouraging his supporters to break election law. He is trying to force through a SCOTUS far-right pick before the election who would kill reproductive rights and lead to further erosion of the separation of church and state.
He is a shite white supremacist who has called on his own version of Hitlers Brown Shirts to cause violence, mayhem, and division on the streets and in the suburbs of America. All the while, demanding the anti-judicial arrest of American citizens, firing on and dispersing peaceful protests. Encouraging police violence, treating police as his militia against protestors who are protesting their brutality.
He shows ongoing contempt for the military and does nothing about bounties on the heads of American soldiers – who are ‘suckers’ and ‘losers’.
Stealing millions from the American taxpayers to support their failing businesses since taking office. Tax evasion. Fraud. $750. Stealing from Kids Cancer Charities. Golfing.
Kids in Cages.
40 million facing eviction.
29 million facing food insecurity.
25 million unemployed.
12 million lost their healthcare.
Anti-union, anti-workers’ rights.
So yeah, in the least surprising news ever, an old man caught Covid because he thought he was above the virus, and this is one of the least interesting things about him and the terror he has wrought over the last 3.5 years. They are using mixed and confused messaging to keep the focus on Trumps health. It is a manipulation pure and simple and they cannot be allowed to get away with it. This is not an election about one man getting the virus, it is an election about over 200,000 dying from it, and everything else he has inflicted on America and the world.
