About Me

I am a Brit. I am a working class child of the troubles in Belfast who now lives a life of privilege. I am an anti-racist, progressive monster for truth. If I fail in being that monster, call me out....

Donald Trump Jr smears Joe Biden with 'incendiary and baseless' accusation of being a pedophile

The president’s eldest son lashed out at former Vice Presiden Joe Biden on Saturday.

“President Trump’s eldest son on Saturday posted a social media message suggesting Joseph R. Biden Jr. was a pedophile, an incendiary and baseless charge that illustrates the tactics the president is turning to as he attempts to erase Mr. Biden’s early advantage in key state polls,” The New York Times reported Saturday.

“Donald Trump Jr.’s inflammatory and baseless claim, which he shared with his 2.8 million Instagram followers, comes as his father and the re-election campaign have sought to weaken Mr. Biden with an onslaught of allegations and insinuations rarely seen in modern elections,” the newspaper reported.

This is just the start. Nasty fuckers are throwing everything at this. Sad and dangerous thing is that the death cult will believe it.

We have had it before, we can have it again

Some inspiration after another horrid week. We had President Obama for 8 years, who did exactly all of this. We can have it again in just a heart beat. Joe will be a different kind of inspiration from Obama, but an inspiration none-the-less.

Trump's American Carnage

During his Inauguration Address, President Trump painted a grim dystopian vision of a then prosperous America, which at the time had a steady and successful economy with stability at home and respect abroad. Trump's vision of "American Carnage" at his Inauguration was not an accurate picture of the America that existed. Bur rather, it foreshadowed the America that would exist, and that we have come to know and struggle to live with each day, under the Trump administration.

We really do have our own kind of special

At Speakers Corner today they came in their dozens to protest our fake virus. Of course the flags where flying and protest signs were hyperbole. *Rule Britannia* Heh. More police than protesters is a very reassuring sign that although we have our own kind of special they are few in number. Jeremy Corbyns brother got arrested alongside a handful of others and I really hope they get charged with an offence of endangering the population of this area through reckless misconduct - although I am not sure that is a a real thing

Say yes to life by protesting public safety measures to stop you dying. Frigging covidiots

This may look like a simple mask, BUT...

EDIT. Some DUers have said I should make it clear that this is a piss take on the right by using a sarc tag. So here we go

Under cover of coronavirus, the world's bad guys are wreaking havoc

Under the cover of coronavirus, all kinds of wickedness are happening. Where you and I see a global health crisis, the world’s leading authoritarians, fearmongers and populist strongmen have spotted an opportunity – and they are seizing it.

... But there are others – and they tend to be in power – who see this opening very differently. For them, the virus suddenly makes possible action that in normal times would exact a heavy cost. Now they can strike while the world looks the other way.

The list goes on and on - Syria, China, America, Hungary, Brazil, India, creating havoc while the world focuses on Covid. Stealing liberties, committing crimes and weaponizing Covid to take out certain communities is the name of the rabid right wing fuckers game...

The one thing Trump will never have to worry about when he leaves office

"Sorry losers and haters, but my IQ is one of the highest - and you all know it! Please don't feel so stupid or insecure, it's not your fault."

Tim Wise: Questions for Those Opposed to Lockdowns

If deaths from this virus were disproportionately occurring among younger, otherwise healthy, middle-to-upper-middle-class, and white Americans, would you still be as cavalier about opening everything back up and taking the risks associated with doing so?
If you answered no, aren’t you admitting you think the lives of those who are currently disproportionately affected — working-class, older, less healthy, and people of color — are of less value than the lives of younger, healthier, and more affluent white people?
And if you answered yes to question 8 — if you are saying you would still support opening everything back up, even if the dying was mostly being done by white, healthy, younger and more affluent folks — I have a bonus question for you…
Why are you lying?

Click on the link for all of the questions (you will need to copy and paste the link because of the way medium works). There are really logic driven and thought through. If you have an infuriating friend or relative who is hankering for lock down to end - some of the questions might give them some pause for thought! Because we all know people who are completely blind to their privilege...

Americans must put a president in the White House come January, 2021, who will understand that...

... public health should not be guided by partisan politics.

The Administration is obsessed with magic bullets—vaccines, new medicines, or a hope that the virus will simply disappear. But only a steadfast reliance on basic public health principles, like test, trace, and isolate, will see the emergency brought to an end, and this requires an effective national public health agency. The CDC needs a director who can provide leadership without the threat of being silenced and who has the technical capacity to lead today's complicated effort.
The Trump administration's further erosion of the CDC will harm global cooperation in science and public health, as it is trying to do by defunding WHO. A strong CDC is needed to respond to public health threats, both domestic and international, and to help prevent the next inevitable pandemic. Americans must put a president in the White House come January, 2021, who will understand that public health should not be guided by partisan politics.

When the Lancet is getting political you know shit is real. A British Medical Journal calling for Trump to be kicked out of office because of the public health and safety of Americans and internationally real says something about how shit the Trump administration is.

Rep. Eliot Engel : An unlawful act of retaliation.

Rep. Eliot Engel on the firing of State Dept. IG Steve Linick: “I have learned that the Office of the Inspector General had opened an investigation into Secretary Pompeo. My. Linick’s firing amid such a probe strongly suggests that this is an unlawful act of retaliation.”

At this point it really does not matter to the administration that this act is unlawful. He got away with colluding with an 'enemy' state, he got away with impeachment, he has got away with lies and grit every single day of his presidency... they were bound to do this. This is situation normal to them and the only way this will ever stop is for the country to kick him out in November. The only shocking thing about this firing is that it is not shocking at all and it really should be.
