Soph0571's JournalDemanding a second chance at making America great again...again, after spending 4 years breaking it
GOP Convention 2020. A group of far right, racist, selfish, venal, homophobic, sexist, misogynist, 1850 living, bring about the end times, white, middle aged, middle class, mostly male - in the seats around the throne, at least - miscreants is the Republican Party on display this week. Permission to be allowed to be their worst self is seemingly so intoxicating they are shamelessly worshipping at the feet of the crime family Trump, in front of the world, with their duplicity and collusion on full display. It is cringe worthy. These profoundly immoral hypocrites stand in front of America and demand fealty from one and all to the wanna be demi-God demanding a second chance at making America great again again, after spending 4 years breaking it. They think Americans are fools, but it is clear as the nose on our faces, even as they try and frighten suburbia with racist tropes into voting for their horror show, that these disruptors, these villains do not love America and they do not give a flying fart about Americans. After all, nearly 180,000 dead and barely a mention at the convention. Why? Because they DO NOT CARE.
Trump's America in 75 seconds
https://twitter.com/ProjectLincoln/status/1298348692370599938Heh. Lincoln Project is some multi layered brilliance. On the one the hand this just shows their repulsiveness, on the other it shows that the words they speak are describing what has happened to America under the Trump regime. Oh and their shallowness and hypocrisy, all in 75 seconds. As I said earlier in the day they are all batshit cray cray.
7 of the most bizarre and unhinged moments from the Republican National Convention's first night
1. The crowd chanted "12 more years".
Trump began his RNC speech with a joke about holding office for longer than the legal two-term limit to which attendees responded by chanting "12 more years".
2. The St Louis 'gun couple' warned people about "Marxist revolutionaries" destroying the suburbs.
3. A chair accidentally touted Maryland's "greatest segregationists".
4. Kimberly Guilfoyle shouted into an empty room.
5. Trump praised Tennessee's "beautiful war fields".
6. Louisiana's chair said that Joe Biden is "hiding in the dark, waiting to take the lives of our unborn babies".
7. Mike Pence said we need to "Make America Great Again... again".

Emphasis mine
They are all batshit cray cray
Huge DU hug please
The SO is avoiding finding out the results of his scan last week. As he avoids anxiety and facts and shit I am in a high level of anxiety. This morning I thought he was dead. His breathing was so shallow alongside a deep sleep, that I actually slapped him awake. I was not popular for a minute
But as he avoids what the plan needs to be to try and save his arse, I am not Florence Nightingale, but trying my hardest, part of the equation needs of huge virtual hug. Please.
EDIT: This has been the best virtual hug ever. Thank you all very much. It has really lifted my spirits and some great advice.
It is reprehensible
Emphasis mine
No empathy, no sympathy, NO FUCKING PLAN. It is not in him to offer relief. It all falls at trumps feet.
A muliti-layered plan of genius
Heh.
The fact that he is speaking at all
The fact that he is doing this on federal property
The fact that he is doing this on the lawn where his wife of dubious record has torn up the roses of the first ladies for the last 100 years
The fact that he is an obnoxious, nasty, homophobic, islamaphobic, racist, conman, death cult leader, stealer of democracy.
Honk fucking honk

Of course if he manages to steal the election - think of Belarus right now, that number means nothing,
HOWEVER, America is not Belarus yet, and so every vote counts. Can I suggest my loves that we flip those numbers to maintain urgency in this election. After all, in 1996, Boris Yeltsin's approval rating never climbed above 10% but he won reelection. We must never underestimate the power of hideous and desperate Trumpers.
