About Me

I am a Brit. I am a working class child of the troubles in Belfast who now lives a life of privilege. I am an anti-racist, progressive monster for truth. If I fail in being that monster, call me out....

President Evil...

Trump is a nutter and a compulsive liar.
He stands with dictators and populist strong men over US allies.
In a country of laws, he has no interest in the rule of law.
He instructs his sycophants to disregard subpoenas from Congress.
He believes that he ' is the Chosen one' who is above the law.
HE IS…..

Trump's impeachment anthem is fire

One very happy chap!

"We're a capitalist farm." No, you're not.

The money-quote comes from one Dennis Kragness, who owns the 2,400-cow Denmark Dairy in Dunn County. He explains his support for Drumpf thusly:

“I’m not in favor of any kind of socialism,” he said. “We’re a capitalist farm.”

A quick search of the Environmental Working Group’s farm subsidy database, however, reveals that Kragness and his family have benefited from about $800,000 in government subsidies. (And that’s just counting the Kragnesses in western WI; could easily be more if the Kragnesses in MN and FL also own a share of the Denmark Dairy, and I’m totally ignoring people with other last names who may have a stake in the farm.)

The level of disconnect with MAGA'ts never ceases to amaze

Trump be like...

Wah, wah, the nasty democrats are being mean to me...

Choices, choices....

Dems should hire Merrick Garland to be their lead impeachment counsel

LOL. There would be a lovely sense of Karma with that, however there are so many good choices.
Know who else is lawyer?!?!

I know. Wishful thinking...

We had a close shave, chaps

Politics Now

Trump caves to Congress -- will release full whistleblower complaint and IG report

On Tuesday, Politico reported that President Donald Trump’s administration is planning to render to Congress the full whistleblower complaint to the intelligence community inspector general, and the inspector general’s subsequent report on the matter.

The announcement comes after a weeklong battle between Congress and the White House, with administration officials resisting their legal requirement to hand over the information to Congress.

The complaint stems from, among other things, a phone conversation Trump held with Ukrainian officials, during which he repeatedly asked them to help him dig up dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden — and which Trump himself has admitted took place. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has endorsed an impeachment investigation in response to the allegations.

Heh. Fucker knows his time is coming...

Yeah, they really are a pathetic bunch of wankers

My niece is 12 and is all over climate change like a rash, so is everyone she knows. She and her generation are the future. The more they bully Greta the more irrelevant they will be to the generations that can vote in no real time at all. They see these arseholes for the wankers they are, they have teenage apps through which they communicate that we do not understand and climate change is trending everyday. Greta is trending everyday. They are not stupid. They see this and they will bide their time, because their voices will be heard at the ballot box.

Stop proroguing, tidy your room, and wash that sock, rule UK's few remaining grown ups

After spending several weeks in his room, claiming to be “revising” legislation, the PM has finally been told to put his Johnson down. “Stop proroguing this instant, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson,” Lady Hale shouted upstairs, “you are not working on your deal, and you know you are not.”

The sheepish Prime Minister has been summoned downstairs to explain himself in the kitchen. Mother Parliament has been complaining for some months about the amount of hardened socks hidden under the Government’s bed, and it has finally come time to address the matter.
The decision was unanimous, with all 11 Justices supporting Lady Hale’s assessment that they were “not angry, just disappointed” by the Prime Minister’s refusal to either do his homework or ask his teachers for an extension. The few remaining grown ups in the UK have accordingly sent the children back to the drawing board.
