Yet another week when all of the ironies died, again.
At Prime Ministers Questions today in Parliament BoJo said 'We expect everybody in this country to obey the law' when talking about the new Covid lockdown measures being imposed in England. This in the same week Brandon Lewis, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland said to the House "Yes, this does break international law in a very specific and limited way" when talking about these far right wankers in charge of us ripping up the EU Withdrawal Bill, and breaching an international treaty in the process.
They are shocking. Law and order for the little people, not when you are an english nationalist at the top of the greasy pole - the you can do what the hell you want and break any law you want, irrespective of the damage it does to the rest of us.

They love racism, hating and violence much more than they are capable of loving America
As Trumplethinskin gets progressively more frantic, he becomes ever more shrill, absurd, and inexplicable. His buffoonish and tyrannical behaviour interspersed with puerile whingeing and melodramatic outbursts only helps with the contrasts that the Biden team are making very well. Every time the Fascist in Chief opens his gob of nasty, he reinforces how Biden is so much more cogent, calm, centred, responsible and competent than he.
Emperor Covid’s determination to hold super-spreader MAGA events during a pandemic, and damn the so very deadly consequences, just helps Biden's low-key style look reasonable and adult – because other than the cult base grownups know that being sensible and cautious is the right approach to life in 2020.
As Captain Chaos rants about AMERICA BURNING DOWN if he's not able to steal another 4 years in the White House this just makes Biden's 'rebuild better' campaign even more appealing to the average adult, who knows that they see America burning right now and do not trust (as the polls say) that he is the one who can fix the toxic tensions he has created. For many, having to had endure Trump's four plus years of fevered, delusional sociopathy and grifting, Biden clearly offers respite from the bedlam and anarchy that Individual one has wrought - and more importantly a return to reason, safety, security and the metal wellbeing and healing of a nation.
At this point, when the choices are so stark, any that still choose to go down the path of the narcissistic, despotic, burn the world to the ground chaos of this arsehole in chief means they are lost to reason, probably for good, and they love racism, hating and violence much more than they are capable of loving America.

Nominating is one thing, not sure the committee will see Trump as a virtuous lover and promoter of world peace somehow, cause us is the exact opposite of this. Everyone knows someone who has been battered hard by 2020, even if they have not been directly effected economically or health wise. At this point not only it highly unlikely that a trade deal will be reached, they want to breach the withdrawal agreement - gotta love a far right Brexiteer government that think they can rip up legally binding international treaties because they want their empire back (the rule Britannia nonsense being a perfect example of this). NO DEAL in every sense.
They were never serious about getting a trade deal, and the only reason they negotiated the withdrawal agreement was because Parliament had tied their hands. So rip it up, tell the EU to do one... they are all ridiculous and they will not be the ones to pay the price as they wallow in their privilege.
Oh and a hard border in Ireland in 3...2...1. Dissidents causing havoc 5 minutes later. The Good Friday Agreement cannot be upheld if they rip up the withdrawal agreement, even as they spout their right wing lies and say they are doing it to protect the agreement, these English nationalists in downing street could not give a shit about Ulster.

All Nazi’s are fascists but not all fascists are Nazi’s. The face of fascism in America today does hold some parallels to Germany 1930s – but that is not the totality of American fascism by any means. American fascism relies on people going nazi be nazi (including me) and then they can point to Hitlers Horror Show and say ‘what bollocks, we look nothing like that, so of course we are not fascists’… yeah right, they are on the start of the journey which will lead to them being exactly like that, but it is a narrative that works with some who see fascists as swastika wearing, goose stepping mass murderers. One must remember that in the 20th Century fascism as a word came out of Italy, rather than Germany, and modern-day fascism is not just this narrowly defined Nazi version, although it is part of it. If these modern day American fascists get their way ‘’Soon it won’t only be black Americans who can’t breathe, but by then the white Americans turning a blind eye and deaf ear to what is happening may have found that they, too, are in a chokehold, and there is no one with enough breath left to speak for them.’’ Sarah Churchill.
Marriam Webster defines fascism as a 1. political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition, and; 2. a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control.
Based on these definitions, it is not difficult to identify those movements who make up the coalition of modern-day fascists in America. A hotch potch of groupings who have some things in common:
They hate minority communities.
They believe in their supremacy over minority communities.
They will happily give up some of their freedoms if it means minority communities are forced to give up MORE freedoms than them.
They cling to patriarchal and authoritarian power structures.
They conflate images of national identity with national supremacy.
They blindly worship the ‘dear leader’ and spread his propaganda.
They support violent rhetoric and actions for political ends.
They would cede democracy to give more power to their goals of suppression of other.
I could go on but I think you get the point. Nazi be Nazi. Nazi be Fascist. Fascist be Fascist. Anyone who supports Trump at this time are embracing a uniquely American fascism and one might suggest that MAGA, with the insignia and the rallies and blustering rants of a wannabee despot, can be reasonably described as an American symbol of fascism for the 21st Century.
