It's so fitting that Renee Montgomery helped rid the WNBA of Kelly Loeffler

You lose again, Kelly Loeffler. You will not be missed, most certainly not by WNBA players.

On Friday, the WNBA announced that the sale of the Atlanta Dream had been finalized, and that the primary owner is Larry Gottesdiener, founder and chairman of Northland, a Massachusetts-based real estate development company.
The two other members of the ownership group are Suzanne Abair, Northland's president and COO, and ... former Dream player Renee Montgomery.

There is something so satisfying about a Black woman being part of the ownership group, so delicious that it is one of the players Loeffler openly disparaged during her futile campaign to win the U.S. Senate seat she had temporarily held for Georgia. Loeffler expressed disgust that WNBA players were so vocal about demanding recognition of their full humanity (aka "Black lives matter" as she — wait for it — used them as political pawns in her ultimately losing quest to retain that seat.

And now, not only did WNBA players play a significant role in Loeffler losing to Rev. Raphael Warnock, a WNBA player is part of the group that bought the Dream from Loeffler, ending a shameful era in the ascending league's history. It bears repeating what a stroke of genius it was to turn their attention away from rightfully complaining about Loeffler's racist, homophobic stances and toward supporting one of her potential opponents.

Rachel's report on woman accused of stealing Nancy Pelosi's laptop - Video of her saluting Hitler

I am so disgusted. I seriously felt nauseated. I could feel the bile backing up in my throat.

I need people to stop acting as if these traitors were just doing cosplay.

Interesting discussion on Anderson Cooper. Making money from Hate

Focused on people at the top of these hate groups and the amount of money they are making pushing their hate and conspiracies.
It was mentioned that there was a CEO making thousands of dollars a day to collect "q drops". Another woman " interpreting Q and Trump" getting massive donations. Some of these donations were sent to defend Flynn.

You really have to be a monster to be a republican - GA Bill to prevent voters from getting food

I heard about their voter suppression bill a few days ago. I wasn't surprised that they would go after Sunday voting to try to suppress black voters, wasn't surprised about voter ID, but I am taken aback that they want to make it illegal to give food to people waiting in long lines.

In addition to banning Sunday voting, the bill would also make it illegal to hand out food and drinks to voters stuck in long polling place lines and would mandate that "absentee ballot drop boxes could only be located inside in-person early voting sites during working hours."

I guess Facebook can take down stuff! Said on MSNBC - Re: Facebook shutting off news in Australia

They can't seem to find a way to shut off Racists, Covid deniers, Vaccine Deniers, Climate Deniers - It took insurrection for them to do "try" to do something about trump and qanon.

Don't forget Lyin Ted said he had an obligation to his voters when it came to the big Lie

So the obligation to voters only applies when it comes to overthrowing the govt, disenfranchising black people.
No obligation to those same voters when they are freezing, hungry, dying due to a devastating storm?

Gee, how nice to have a president or his aides OFFER to send generators and other essentials

Does not declare they are " Our Generators" - As Kushner declared " our stockpile"
Or "Red states shouldn't get support because of bad management by their political leaders"

Someone made a thread about Mexico wanting to build the wall, Who knew??

Slimy Cruz would be the first to cross the border to seek refuge in Mexico
Here's what he said during his campaign

“A Cruz Administration’s first priority for immigration reform will be to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.” The site says Cruz “will build a wall that works” because “the unsecured border with Mexico invites illegal immigrants, criminals, and terrorists to tread on American soil. I will complete the wall.”

City releases $5 million settlement agreement with Black officer beaten during protest

Five St. Louis police officers have been federally indicted for beating Officer Luther Hall during a 2017 protest

ST. LOUIS — The City of St. Louis will pay $5 million to a Black police officer who was assaulted in 2017 by white officers while working undercover during a protest, according to a settlement agreement obtained by 5 On Your Side.
Officer Luther Hall was working undercover during the protests that followed the acquittal of a police officer who had been charged with the 2011 murder of a Black drug suspect.

This is from an older article that detailed how excited these scumbags were at brutalizing protesters

Sadism in the St. Louis Police Department
Three cops who expressed an eagerness to brutalize protesters unintentionally targeted the one person likely to get them arrested.
“Let’s whoop some ass,” Myers allegedly texted.

“The more the merrier!!!” Boone allegedly replied. “It’s gonna get IGNORANT tonight!! But it’s gonna be a lot of fun beating the hell out of those shitheads once the sun goes down and nobody can tell us apart!!!!” He went on to describe a fellow police officer as “a BIG OL black dude” who is “hands on,” and who is “basically a thug that’s on our side. It’s he and I that just grab fuckers and toss em around.” Later he described cops loading protesters onto prison buses while saying “Our streets,” in unison, mocking their chant. He added, “Did everyone see the protesters getting FUCKED UP in the galleria????? That was awesome.”

I'm watching the movie Dark Waters. Parkersburg WVA. Republican stronghold

If you have a chance to watch this awesome movie. Please do. The movie is about Dupont's 20 year cover up about how dangerous PFOA is. The details are extremely disturbing. The movie starts with what was happening in Parkersburg WVA.

My post is not about what Dupont did. Its about how people that live in republican strongholds, will continue to vote against their own interests. Dupont has given to Dems and Republicans. So I don't want to make it seem that just by accepting a corporate donation, something is wrong. Its the support to continue to cause harm that really boggles my mind. The support that these communities continue to give politicians that will not fight for their safety and security.

Dow, gave a million dollars to trump to get what they wanted.

How Dow Chemical Influenced the EPA to Ignore the Scientific Evidence on Chlorpyrifos

Published Oct 11, 2017
Dow Chemical gave $1 million to fund President Trump's inaugural activities, and its chairman and CEO, Andrew Liveris, was a key advisor to the Trump Administration, heading up the president’s since-disbanded American Manufacturing Council. In fact, when Trump signed a February executive order creating federal agency task forces in charge of choosing regulations to roll back, Liveris was standing behind the president.

I keep hearing questions about how to reach trump folks. I don't buy the economic anxiety argument. I believe if you still support trump, you are a bigot yourself. The mind boggling thing for me, communities like Parkersburg that will reject Democratic ideas that would keep them safe, and continue to support the politicians that encourage the polluters to continue to cause harm. How do you reach people that continue to cut off their own noses to spite other people's faces? The people they are voting for, don't give a blip about them. But, they will continue to vote that way.
