Which Group Is Full of Complete Idiots: the KKK, All of Florida, FOX News, and Texans?

Calif. High School in Trouble After Test Asks if Which Group Is Full of Complete Idiots: the KKK, All of Florida, FOX News, and Texans

According to Fox 40, a high school in Rocklin is facing all of the heat after a history quiz appeared to ask students a trick question. The question reportedly asks students at Whitney High to point out “A group of complete idiots”, the choices were, the “KKK”, “all of Florida”, “FOX News” and “Texans.”

Seriously, how could the history teacher do this? This is fucking offensive AF. If I were a student I would’ve immediately protested. The clear answer is “All of the above” but that isn’t listed as an option. The acceptable answer is obviously “all of Florida” but how can you not make a legit argument for Fox News or Texas?! Something tells me this is one of those tests where every answer is right because clearly every answer is right.

This is terrible and so inappropriate. I gotta admit I laughed out loud. This teacher will probably be looking for a new job soon.

The Harder They Fall- Easily now in my list of all time favorite movies- Netflix

As a kid I loved Spaghetti Westerns. Maybe it was the experience of watching these movies with dad. While this is not the first Black Western, it is definitely my favorite. I absolutely loved the reggae songs on the soundtrack, and if anyone is a Lauryn Hill fan. What a treat.
While fictional, it is inspired by the lives of some real people. It’s also a timely film in terms of discussions about historical inaccuracy. As a kid watching Shane, Magnificent Seven, and so many others, I had no idea that there were black cowboys. I had never heard of Stage Coach Mary.
The real stage coach Mary was the first black USPS employee. A bad ass gunslinger that protected the mail. That’s not how she is portrayed in this movie. But again it’s. this is a fictional movie.

Meet Stagecoach Mary, the Daring Black Pioneer Who Protected Wild West Stagecoaches

Would-be mail thieves didn’t stand a chance against Stagecoach Mary. The hard-drinking, quick-shooting mail carrier sported two guns and men’s clothing.

Randi Weingarten's perfect response to Tom Cotton's homophobic statements

GOP senator calls lesbian educator “a joke” because she doesn’t have kids.
Her response was awesome.
"Is he now disqualifying every nun from teaching? Or is this simply a new divisive & hateful homophobic slur against LGBTQ teachers?"

Rosedale NY. White Flight and the lies we keep telling ourselves

This is a spin-off of the Staten Island voting for Sliwa thread. https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=16009929

One poster noted that Archie Bunker seemed more like he was from Staten Island than Queens. Couldn’t have been more wrong. In the 1970’s, Queens went through the great white flight.
This footage below resurfaced last year that shows children being attacked. White folks protesting black people moving into the neighborhood. This is mid to late 1970’s. Not the 50’s or 60’s.
We tell ourselves these lies, that this is not who we are. It is exactly who this country is. As long as we tell ourselves that lie, the harder it will be be for real change to come. White folks underestimate how racist a lot of other white folks are. Even the ones that claim they are not racist, but do not want to shift to a more equitable society. They don’t want a shift in the balance of power. They will do what it takes to keep the status quo.All the while, claiming they are not racist. Cite every reason under the sun to keep black people in their place. America was, is and will always be a racist country. Now, you can’t even talk about the ugly history without vitriol from right wing circles and even concern on the left to not talk about certain things pertaining to racism, for fear of further angering the right.

Colin in Black in Black and White. Well done!

No spoilers

I love it. I’m only on the first episode. But I love that it is unapologetically black. The opening scene. Just wow!
The series is a mix of comedy and drama.

And I don’t care that he didn’t vote in 2016.
What he did for the black community cannot be erased because he didn’t vote in 2016.

We all know that this has nothing to do with education

The kids are losers all around while the adults fight this bogus CRT war. Many kids T lost a year of school. Reports have said that many are not where they should be academically. That is what these idiots would have been focused on, if they really cared about education.

Police trainer: "Be polite, be professional, have a plan to kill everyone you meet."

US marshals act like local police, but with more violence and less accountability

PHOENIX — Detective Michael Pezzelle spent his last seven years on a suburban police force here amassing a body count. He was involved in shootings that wounded two people and killed five, including a teenage girl who died when he fired into a car she was riding in.

Pezzelle faced no public consequences. He retired in 2018 and at age 47 started to collect a pension of $62,220 a year. Today, he trains police officers around the country to follow the kind of advice he shared on Instagram: “Be polite, be professional, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.”

US Marshall & cop indicted in Jamarion Robinson's murder. He was shot 59 times in 2016.Trump DOJ

blocked this investigation. They had to be sued.

Atlanta Prosecutor Sues DOJ For Blocking Investigation Of Incident Where Cops Shot A Man 59 Times

A case that involves some shocking numbers has resulted in a lawsuit against the DOJ. An investigation into a raid that ended with law enforcement officers putting 59 bullets into the body of an Atlanta resident has dead-ended and it appears to be because the DOJ doesn't want to talk about it.
After officers fired more than 90 bullets into Robinson's apartment, some claimed Robinson fired at them first. But statements made by other officers and the results of the ensuing search punch holes in this narrative.

SNIP
At the conclusion of the shooting, a firearm was located, which the officers claimed that Mr. Robinson fired at them three times. However, when the firearm was recovered, it was damaged and inoperable. Moreover, in an investigative report completed by Officer Steve Schreckengost, he did not state that the officers entered the premises because Mr. Robinson was shooting. Rather, Officer Schreckengost claims they entered to protect others inside the apartment from Mr. Robinson, although it was clear from their surveillance no one else was in the apartment.

According to the complaint, a federal task force comprised of 14 officers from eight local municipal police departments and at least one U.S. marshal went to the apartment to execute a Georgia arrest warrant based on allegations that Robinson committed an aggravated assault.

Robinson was not charged with any federal crime and there was no federal arrest warrant pending for him, the lawsuit states.

Except for a traffic violation, Robinson's record was clean, the DA says.

The complaint alleges that although the officers knew Robinson suffered from schizophrenia, they did not attempt to coordinate a peaceful surrender and made no effort to enlist the help of his friends or family before confronting him.

The officers also allegedly failed to secure a search warrant despite spending two hours conducting surveillance on the apartment complex and did not get consent to enter the apartment where they believed Robinson was located.

Without any indication that Robinson had a weapon or presented a threat to the officers, the task force knocked the apartment door down and immediately fired 51 shots from outside into the apartment, the lawsuit states.

According to the complaint, the officers then entered the apartment and fired 41 more shots from various weapons "including a 9mm submachine gun, a .40mm submachine gun, and a .40 Glock pistol."

More than 90 rounds were fired into the apartment, DA Howard claims.

This gets worse.

Officers charged with murder of Jamarion Robinson request to move case to federal court
If the case is moved, federal court filings show the pair plan to seek immunity as federal officers.

The Fulton County grand jury on Tuesday indicted two officers in the 2016 death of Jamarion Robinson, who was shot 76 times during a law enforcement raid on his girlfriend’s East Point apartment.
In addition to two counts of felony murder, Eric A. Heinze and Kristopher L. Hutchens were each indicted on six other counts: aggravated assault, burglary and two counts each of making false statements and violation of oath by a public officer.

According to East Point police, Robinson fired a shot at officers, who returned gunfire. Robinson was shot 76 times and died. He was 26 (Remember in the excerpt from another article, the gun that they claim they found was inoperable)

I am glad they have been indicted. Everyone that was there should be indicted. I am annoyed at the media's coverage of this story.
The backstory here is Jamarion suffered from Schizophrenia. The week before his murder, his mother woke up one night to the smell of gasoline. She said Jamarion had stopped taking his medication and had become paranoid, she called to get him help.
He took off. The police that responded treated this as a crime and not a healthcare issue and that Jamarion was in need of medical help.
A warrant for attempted arson was issued for his arrest. They told his mother he was trying to kill her.
They claim that days later Jamarion pointed a gun at an officer. They got another warrant for that.
Jamarion's mother states that the picture they showed her of the person they thought pointed the gun at an officer was not Jamarion!
This was such a brutal killing. Not only did they fire 90 shots. They threw 2 grenades at him. Handcuffed him after all that and dragged his body down the stairs.

They cannot be allowed to hide behind immunity.
