Thin Lizzy - Whiskey in the Jar

Another bar band classic from the 70's....just a great dance song!

So I downloaded X-Plane......

took 4 days to get the files and the Eastern 1/2 of the US. I've been enjoying the flying experience, very similar to to MS X. I have 15 hours in the pilot seat from 10 years ago - real flying.

Decided my internet bandwidth can't handle the streaming requirements for MS 2020. So I went with X-Plane. I have a lot to relearn, but this is an awesome flight simulator. $60.00. Not a bad price considering the number of hours I have to waste.

Any other flight simulator enthusiasts out there?

First flight - Cessna 172- anology guages. 1B0 (Dexter, ME Muni) -> B21 (Carabasett Valley)....on to Mt Washington and eventual landing at Mt. Washington Valley Regional Airport. About 2 hours. No structural damage.

Lots to learn, plenty of time to figure it out.

Space Force coming to Netflix!

This ought to be good....

Question on composting bark scrap.

Just finished restacking next season's wood pile. Cleaning up the area where the logs were dumped, I have about 2 large wheelbarrows of bark that I could shovel up and dump in the puckerbrush, but-

The pile is located next to my raised beds 4@ (4x3x16). I need to turn the soil which has been dormant for a about 5 years. The dirt has settled quite a bit and was thinking of getting some loam to retop.

I am now thinking of digging down a foot and spreading the bark uniformly in the beds.

Question to knowledgeable Duers - is this a smart use of the waste hardwood bark?
