Congressman Pocan: No Labels main mission was to target Democrats and Pelosi

First, the organization spent almost twice as much helping re-elect Republicans as it spent helping Democrats. Second, reporters reviewed email correspondence that showed No Labels contemplating a plan to attack Pelosi and use her leadership as a wedge to divide congressional Democrats. And third, it’s clear that No Labels never had any meaningful ultimatums or demands on rules for leadership during eight years of a Republican-led House, or over the last four years of a Republican-led Senate. No Labels only has challenges for Democratic leadership in the House, specifically, for our next speaker, Nancy Pelosi.

That sure seems like a label to me.

No Labels - Just another Republican con job

The prevailing political sentiment in America is being socially liberal but fiscally conservative. It’s how most people describe themselves, despite the fact that when you ask Americans about which specific policies we support, we skew liberal. Being kind towards those left vulnerable by society is always en vogue, just not to our financial masters. The reason why we are the way that we are is because we have been coached in this contradictory direction by those who control our politics.

Which brings me to No Labels, a “centrist” political group created by Republican Todd Davis and Nancy Jacobson—wife to veteran Clinton strategist, Mark Penn (Penn is now writing op-eds on FoxNews.com about the supposed fraudulence of the Mueller investigation). Joe Lieberman is their designated national leader. No Labels is seemingly designed to drag Democrats further to the right

Megyn Kelly Reportedly Getting the Huge Payout All Disgraced Racists Dream Of

Can someone please explain to me why Comcast would pay off her contract in full rather than making her honor it? She would be under their control for a few more years and we wouldn't have to see or hear from her. You know once she gets that money she will be back on TV spewing hate with a vengeance.

Make her honor the fucking contract and give her a gardening show.

Why isn't the MSM playing tapes of the Tea Party from 2009 and 2010???

The Repugs applauded the violent and disruptive behavior then. Why aren't they being reminded by the MSM of the raucous town halls in which every Democrat was harassed, threatened and systematically interrupted according to a playbook designed by American's for Prosperity and other Koch funded astro-turf faux outrage groups? Back then it was "concerned citizens justifiable anger." Now that we are protesting outright corruption we are "the mob." And the MSM plays along.

The media better start confronting this asshole and stop treating politics like a sporting event designed for ratings. Khashoggi's brutal death was a warning shot to all media and a trial balloon for Trump. If the MSM does not start getting tougher with him and every asshole Republican they risk being the next Khashoggi.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

As we suspected. Trump had nothing to do with declining NFL ratings.

We see that now. And with the weak Trump ripple as a backdrop, it shows us something that can’t be ignored: Team owners completely botched how they reacted to the president, largely because they were unprepared and unaccustomed to being shouted at by someone on a platform they couldn’t crush with their own public-relations machine.

But Trump’s megaphone created a frenzy inside the NFL’s ownership collective. A fraternity that was not only clueless as to how to deal with Trump, but ended up cannibalizing itself by being strong-armed by a handful of members – like the Dallas Cowboys’ Jerry Jones and Houston Texans’ Bob McNair – who pushed for a harder line against players. Now we know the mistake for what it was: a panicked response to the tip of a political wave rather than a reasoned reaction to the underlying data that was driving ratings.

The rise and fall of the NFL’s viewership tide is about the quality of the game. Is … was … always will be.
