This has been on my mind all day. I watched a video on a gun control debate this morning

Most gun proponents seem to push the argument that gun-controls laws don't work therefore they shouldn't exist; people need to defend themselves; blah blah blah.

Basically, all I wanted to say is that I'm tired of the GOP argument that gun control laws don't work therefore we should do absolutely nothing and not try anything.

Joe Biden should call Trump to check on him... I'm serious

Purely from a strategic standpoint, I can see that winning over many undecided voters.

Trumpworld delighted in cruelty. Now that Trump has COVID, it demands empathy.

Trump supporters love how he "owns the libs," including when he mocked Hillary Clinton's bout with pneumonia on the 2016 campaign trail.

Now that Trump has COVID, Trumpists are shocked — shocked! — that some of his critics are being "mean" to him.

Even an amoral bully such as Trump deserves sympathy for contracting a dreaded disease that's already killed 200,000 of his fellow Americans.

But after luxuriating in Trump's cruelty for years, his supporters have absolutely no moral high ground on which to stand.

Some GOP senators break with Trump on Obamacare suit

WASHINGTON — Five Republican senators facing re-election voted for a Democratic-led bill Thursday to block the Trump administration from supporting a lawsuit to overturn Obamacare.

The senators include Susan Collins of Maine, Joni Ernst of Iowa, Cory Gardner of Colorado and Martha McSally of Arizona, who are locked in some of the most competitive Senate races this year.

Alaska Republicans Dan Sullivan, who is also up for re-election, and Lisa Murkowski, who doesn’t face voters until 2022, also voted with Democrats on the measure.

Trump's Proud Boy moment sparks Black outrage in Florida

TALLAHASSEE — President Donald Trump’s shoutout to the far-right hate group Proud Boys is energizing black voters to turn out against him in the must-win state of Florida.

“His call to the white supremacist group Proud Boys to ‘stand by,’ and telling his followers to go to the polls and watch them, that is straight up voter suppression,” said incoming state Minority Leader Bobby DuBose, a Black Broward County Democrat.
