In It to Win It
In It to Win It's JournalRep. Marcia Fudge weighing a bid for House Speaker
Fudge said she does not believe Pelosi has enough votes to win the job, as many newly elected Democrats promised not to support her. Opponents to Pelosi are seeking an alternative candidate and have approached her about the job.
"People are asking me to do it, and I am thinking about it," Fudge told cleveland.com. "I need to give it some thought and see if I have an interest. I am at the very beginning of this process. It is just in discussion at this point."

Pelosi challenges unhappy Dems to block her bid for speaker
Come on in, the waters warm, Pelosi, D-Calif., told a reporter about her message to rebellious colleagues.
A handful of Democrats, arguing its time for a fresh leadership team, say unhappy lawmakers are signing a letter pledging to vote against Pelosi when the full chamber elects the next speaker on Jan. 3. Some said they already have sufficient support to block her.
Weve got enough to ensure that she cannot become speaker, said Rep. Kurt Schrader, D-Ore.

White House: Trump has 'broad discretion' to regulate journalists' access
The White House on Wednesday said President Donald Trump has "broad discretion" to regulate journalists' access, formally responding to CNN's attempt to get a court to restore correspondent Jim Acosta's press pass.
CNN on Tuesday filed a lawsuit asking a judge to restore Acosta's credentials, which were revoked last week, and declare that the administration's action was unconstitutional. The White House pulled the reporter's access after he argued with the president over questions at a press conference and briefly refused to let a White House aide pull a microphone out of his hand.
"The President and White House possess the same broad discretion to regulate access to the White House for journalists (and other members of the public) that they possess to select which journalists receive interviews, or which journalists they acknowledge at press conferences," the White House said in its response to the suit Wednesday.
"No journalist has a First Amendment right to enter the White House," the White House said in a legal filing.

What is so bad about Nancy Pelosi?
I get that shes been demonized by the right BUT DAYUM!!!!!!! Our side seems to have given into the hype. The right has demonized her BECAUSE SHE DID HER JOB RIGHT!
There is NO BETTER time for her to be Speaker than now! This is the time that we need her the most! With this chaotic White House, WE NEED HER NOW!
Besides, who else is even throwing their hat in the ring?
Im tired of the Nancy-hate. No other Democrat should even attempt to get the Speakership.
Let Mitch McConnell be our greatest inspiration for OPERATION FUCK OFF...
In addition to taking back the Senate, we are going to make Donald Trump a one-term President.

But at every step of the way, ORourke has shut down the talk, including on Monday when he once again ruled out a presidential bid in two years. I will not be a presidential candidate in 2020, he told reporters in Houston. That is as definitive as it gets.
Did Kansas teach us a lesson?
The GOPs destructive policies won the Democrats a governorship in Kansas.
America doesnt really know what it feels like to be a truly conservative country, at least today it doesnt. Dems have always been there to soften the blow of conservatism (hereinafter, FUCKERY). Is it a winning long term strategy to let America feel the pain of fuckery for them to see that they dont give a damn? To see that the lower taxes, and small government isnt for them but rather the wealthy? They dont care about your unions? They dont care about your access to healthcare and its affordability?
