Girls in MAGA hats and red lipstick.

Is it hillbilly rap?

Or what?

Read Laurence Tribe's Twitter feed.

It is full of good insights about constitutionality of indicting POTUS, pardon for Pence, etc. etc.

You don't have to be a member to read it.

Remember, vis a vis Richard Painter's urge for LENIENCY for Trump (resignation)

.....Painter was a member of the Bush Administration.

While he condemns Donald Trump, he may not want a remedy that will fracture Republican Party otherwise.

He may not want the other rot exposed. McConnell, etc.

And so when Painter suggests leniency for Trump -- just let Trump go away -- he is not acting in the interest of the American People.

He is preserving the "establishment" Republican Party by splitting it from Trump.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

Resist that with everything you've got. Push back on social media.

So has Danny Deutsch been lying about Cohen wanting to be on the right side of history and seeing...

....himself as a new John Dean?

I watched Deutsch push that framing for an hour last week. Deutsch is reportedly a friend of Cohen and had spent time with him on the very day he made that claim.

As the Washington Commentariat mourns loss of 41-era establishment bipartisanship, let's be clear:

It wasn't elected Democrats who spent the last twenty years breaching the Rule of Law, smashing the Separation of Powers, corrupting politics with unlimited money, subverting the Constitution, quashing votes for narrow partisan gain, encouraging the rise of dangerous extremism, wittingly allowing the propagandizing of the least educated countrymen for partisan advantage.

To wit: John Yoo. Karl Rove. Et al.

The vicious attack on American institutions that allowed Trump and this Republican Congress to bring the loss to civility the Commentariat is blubbering about today began with Bush 43.

Think back. And push back! Don't allow this whataboutism to assign responsibility for slippage to Dems, who have done nothing but try to hold on to the protections afforded in the Constitution and the Rule of Law.

Refused to take the fall for murder of Khashoggi -- now in hospital with a broken neck from a "fall"

[link:https://www.yenisafak.com/en/world/dahlan-allegedly-hospitalized-in-dubai-after-refusing-to-take-fall-for-khashoggi-murder-3468107|

As efforts to distance Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman from the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi intensify, UAE Crown Prince Mohammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan’s chief hitman in the region Mohammad Dahlan is said to have been hospitalized in Dubai with “a broken neck,” following a brawl that broke out on a luxury yacht in the oil-rich emirate after Dahlan refused to become the new “scapegoat” for the consulate murder.

At the yacht party held in honour of bin Salman, Dahlan allegedly got an offer to be the main actor of the Khashoggi murder, and was badly beaten by a team in Dubai after he refused.

Mohammed Dahlan, the former security chief for the Palestinian Authority who is also known as the “hitman” of the Middle East, was the main mediator between the UAE government and an assassination squad in Yemen.

Khashoggi, a frequent contributor to The Washington Post, was killed on Oct. 2 inside the Consulate of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul.

Federal workers may not use the word "resistance" or discuss impeachment.

|

WASHINGTON — At workplaces across the United States, it is routine for Americans’ conversations to turn to President Trump — whether his policies are good, whether he should be impeached, what to think about the “resistance.” Some drink from MAGA mugs; others tape cartoons to their cubicle walls portraying Mr. Trump as a Russian quisling.

But roughly two million people who work for the federal government have now been told that it may be illegal for them to participate in such discussions at work — a pronouncement that legal specialists say breaks new ground, and that some criticized as going too far.

Generally, federal employees have been free to express opinions about policies and legislative activity at work as long as they do not advocate voting for or against particular candidates in partisan elections. But in a guidance document distributed on Wednesday, the independent agency that enforces the Hatch Act, a law that bars federal employees from taking part in partisan political campaigns at work or in an official capacity, warned that making or displaying statements at work about impeaching or resisting Mr. Trump is likely to amount to illegal political activity.

Has anyone seen video of Trump leaving the tree lighting?

I've read about it several times but not seen video.

Reportedly he took a phone call, had a panic attack, and rushed out.
